1. Very sorry to read this as well. All the best Tash, hoping to read from you very soon :) Take care!
2. Hi, just saw your post :) I'm the guy who got the white COLDPLAY guitar pick. So to answer your question, I was in the audience right next to Jonny's spot. When Matt McGuinn was onstage to set everything up, me and a friend just said quickly hi and "thanks for your book!". He smiled, thumbs up, and gave to us 2 guitar picks! A lovely surprise :)
3. Totally freaked out when I read the blog this morning!
4. Thanks to everybody for all the reviews. I would have given anything to be able to be there. I remember how it felt to hear Paradise 3 days before the release, so I can't even imagine how it must have been to have the full album, with such an incredible installation and experience, 2 months before the release. I'm kinda glad it all happens on the other side of the planet to be honest, I'd be dying if it all happened next door and I didn't manage to get a ticket or something! Now I have a question for the people who have been there. According to this setlist, the band came on stage with something like a bit of O playing in the background. My question is, did it sound anything like the intro at the iTunes Festival? (First 25 seconds) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCEPvayuNvk Or were these 25 seconds part of Always in My Head? If anybody remembers somethings and answers, thank you very much :) In all cases, thank you for reading!

We are all having such a hard time figuring out what this song is, what this thing is. I was, like everyone, surprised the first time I heard it. Since I love surprises, I was already liking it. Now the more I hear it, the more I love it. I gave it a 9/10, the higher grade I've ever given to a Coldplay song on here I think. (I didn't even give a 9 to ETIAW who turned out to become my all time favorite CP song.) I am truly DIGGING Midnight (oh and I love the vocoder). Now, the thing is, part of why I love it so much is because it's Coldplay, and because, as I said, it's a huge surprise and I'm delighted to see they 'had the balls' to come up with this, knowing a lot of people would be truly confused. Yesterday, we learned that Midnight may 'just' be a b-side for Magic. That could change everything. Coldplay have never disappointed me yet (I love Mylo Xyloto, I even love Princess of China), so I'm not scared at all, but I'm truly wondering what I'll think of Midnight tomorrow once we got to hear Magic and once we'll know better where the guys are heading to with all this. But I just wanted to say that I love the ephemera state that we are in right now: we just have this 'UFO song', and we have no idea what's coming next. It's so exciting, and part of the whole Coldplay experience.
6. Great question, I'm curious about other answers, a poll would be interesting. It feels like I listen to them every day, maybe because I always have one of their songs stuck in my head (ETIAW 90% of the time), which can be both a positive thing or something really annoying... I actually wish I could listen to them less often than I do, but I feel like I just need it. I'm not saying that out of fanboyism but usually a day without one or two of their songs feels like a day without chocolate ; they give me some sort of energy.
7. wat? Have I missed something?
8. No disrespect to the amazing Oracle, but this is, like, *completely* wrong. :D
9. Congrats guys :smug: Enjoy your treasures!
10. Oh I had no idea they were shipping to the UK only! That must indeed be the main reason. Just found the old End of decade clear out sale thread, looks like last time was kind of the opposite from today: the clothes went higher last time (£4800 for Guy's jacket, £2355 for Jonny's cap only!) but the instruments went higher this year (Jonny's guitars raised £6800 and £5200).
11. I'm kinda surprised to see that all those items don't raise even more money, especially the clothes... I mean the Viva items raised a bit more, didn't they? But anyway, this is all really terrific for Kids Company. Now I just hope that at some point all those items will find their way to museums or places where they can be preserved, exposed and seen by a lot of people.
12. M.M.I.X. n°1, why not :D
13. Both please. I think Atlas is a good example of both sides put together, although it could have been more adventurous. I'd love them to bring beautiful ballades "back" (those songs haven't really left though, just look at Us Against The World), but I also need them to be rockier than ever on LP6.
14. At first listen I was kinda disappointed a little bit because it was so quiet but it is a perfect song for a movie like this. It sounds so simple, yet epic and huge. And omg, the carry your world part :3 Already listening to it over and over.
15. LP6

Do you think Davide Rossi may be talking about Coldplay & LP6 in one of his latest tweets? @rossidavide : And guess who am I going to be in the studio with next week? It's a run-around!!!! :) https://twitter.com/rossidavide/status/333380051624136705
16. I have to say I disagree a little bit with the bad quality argument. Most of the footage you can find nowadays is pretty decent (video at least), done by people shooting in HD and they're usually not jumping or whatever. But although I like finding on YouTube playlists from people who filmed the whole show, I can really understand that it must have been annoying to stand right behind them all the time.
17. I spend a lot of time on YouTube watching specific concert videos, and most of those are concerts I myself attended. I love seeing shows from various angles, and sometimes I love watching the same show but in various venues (I don't know why but I really like doing that). I have never been really annoyed by a cellphone or a small camera in a crowd. I think tablets should be banned though, that's really too much.
18. I think she is clearly confirming that it is coldplay's official instagram page, but I agree with you, they are indeed using @coldplayinsta, and not this one... And @coldplayinsta has 50k less followers than @officialcoldplay, can you believe this?!
19. Wow that's an impressive treasure, thank you very much :) Do you have by any chance any idea when/where this was recorded?
20. I swear to God, Oracle. If after this, Coldplay fans start using Comic Sans everywhere, I will track you down and be very mean to you. I will basically Liam Neeson you. This picture pretty much sums it up for me. It has been so over-used that it's just annoying now, and it's pretty much a sign of amateurism and non-originality.
21. This is so not original: Parachutes: Yellow A rush of blood to the head: The Scientist X&Y: Fix You Viva: Strawberry Swing MX: Every Teardrop is a Waterfall
22. Really liking The Stars (Are Out Tonight), I curiously got sick of Where Are We Now pretty quickly. I still have to listen to the whole album.
23. I'd go with 1. Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall 2. Hurts Like Heaven 3. Paradise 4. Moving To Mars 5. Charlie Brown Can I please make it a top 6 to include Up With The Birds ?
24. Loving that question :laugh3:
