  1. You might have better luck going for just one standing ticket, as you might risk getting none if you go for two - the Paris open sale went way quicker than the pre-sale yesterday... Jason
  2. Wow. I feel lucky from yesterday even more so now... Jason
  3. Actually, it remains to be seen what the actual tickets look like, but the online purchase order details show a seat and row number. I think that there is a good chance that the tickets won't reflect that though, as seat and row number didn't show up at all during the checkout process when buying the tickets, and from what others had said after talking to Ticketmaster, I think it would just be confusing since they are "standing" tickets. Having said all that, you'd think Ticketmaster would have a more straight forward system for selling and identifying tickets, since, you know, that is their business. ;) Jason
  4. I'm sooooo excited about these shows. The new album, foreign country (for me anyway :laugh3:) and I've never seen shows in venues this large before. Will definitely be a different kind of Coldplay experience (especially compared with Liverpool and Newcastle last year). Jason
  5. Thanks for all the info - you are the Bercy expert! :) Love your sig... ;) Jason
  6. Another member here sent me a PM (thanks!) showing me that if you click on your confirmation e-mail to show the detail of your order back on the TM website, mine shows row/seats just like the others here with FLOOR tickets: So it would look like there is only one type of FLOOR ticket sold, and this is consistent with what was posted earlier by the member who spoke with Ticketmaster. So for those buying tickets tonight (sorry, tomorrow ), and you want standing/floor, you may as well take the first ones offered to you, whether they show seats or not. When mine came up to buy and through buying them, it never showed any rows/seats - I had to dig through the order detail on the website right now to find it (not on my e-mail receipt either, or my order confirmation screen when I bought them, which I screencapped). Jason
  7. Yeah, I was puzzled about that too. When I first went on, I picked "Category 1", and it said none available (well, it was all in French, so I don't know exactly what it said, but that was my guess), even though it showed "2" left in the queue. So then I picked "Cat 2" and got my Section O, Row 11 seats... I'm looking at my receipt and e-tickets now, and both show "Cat2". The price of my tickets were 6200 Euros. What did the "Cat1" tickets cost? Strange... Jason
  8. That "Verified by Visa" thing happened to me buying tickets on Ticketmaster U.S. before... it comes up then glitched out, and I lost my tix in my cart. I found at that time that Mozilla Firefox just wouldn't work, but MS IE would... I totally forgot about that last night until I got to the "Verified by Visa" stage checking out with these Coldplay tickets, and I thought "nooooooo..." Luckily, it worked for me this time though. I would recommend to anyone trying to buy tix on Ticketmaster to not use Firefox. And I'll have to remember that myself next time too... Just not worth the risk. Jason
  9. I didn't pick a specific price/tier - I just picked "Best Available" - and the first result returned to me was the "Standing" tix. Jason
  10. I would recommend that you keep trying. When Ticketmaster US did the UCLA tickets, more kept popping up at random as time went on... Jason
  11. By the way, if you want to go for "Standing" floor seats when they go on sale again tomorrow, I got on right at the time it opened and choose "best available", and this was the first set of tix offered to me... Jason
  12. I bought "Floor" tickets that have no seat/row numbers - mine are "STANDING". Here is what is on the Ticketmaster receipt: Jason
  13. I got on right when it became available, and picked two seats, best available, and got (and purchased) two standing tickets. :) I did keep searching to see what seated tickets came up, and nothing really good. I did get a single ticket in Section 101 at one point, but it was looking at the side of the stage. I'll check again on the general sale to see if any really good lower tier seats come up... otherwise, totally happy with the standing tix, as that is a totally different and fun experience! Jason
  14. Yes, or "mosh pit", depending on the style of music... I also bought one spare "standing area" ticket... Oh, and yes, it is 1:00 am here right now, but need to stay up to get tix for the London O2 show... Jason
  15. Congrats - you are pretty close to me then - just 4 rows difference. :) Jason
  16. Yeah, it sounds like "O" should be good seats! If "free seating" means you can roam up to the front though, that sounds really good too... :D :D :D I mean, at a Coldplay concert, no one sits anyway, so you may as well be right there at the stage, if you can make your way to it! Jason
  17. Congrats! Is that "free seating" or is there a general admission/pit ticket? Jason
  18. "Cat 1" was sold out immediately for me. I got "Cat 2" seats - Section "O" Row 11. I bought those. I refreshed and now just "Cat 3" are available... seat numbers say "Free Seating". I guess that is what was described above as first come, first serve? Was limited to one or two tickets, but I think that is just together - I think you could go back and buy more, I would think? Anyway, I'm just happy to have two tickets, even though I don't know who I'm going with yet. Jason
  19. If I don't get tix, I'll just climb the wall, or drop in via glider or something... :D Jason
  20. It's only 3 PM here... I get to buy tix after midnight California time. ;) Jason
  21. Good to know - thank you! First come, first sit doesn't sound promising... I'm not the kind of person who will sleep outside overnight... Is there a French website like "StubHub" that resells tickets that is "safe" (i.e. set up to prevent scams)? Just wondering, in case I am not so lucky getting tickets when they go on sale tonight (well, it will be nighttime for me anyway - morning for all of you ;)). Jason
  22. What are the better seats/tix to go for? What are the best seated sections? The worst? Is that entire yellow area general admission/standing? Thanks! Jason
