  1. I love the baby blue Tshirt (matches my eyes :laugh3:) but I just wonder if we'd get in trouble using the Lollapalooza name? And I wonder if anyone would be willing to make one for me since I for sure will mess it up? Glad to pay.
  2. Skittz, that's awesome! That looks like it ought to be an officially licensed shirt. Good work!
  3. Good idea. Maybe a yellow bracelet? I have one of those LiveStrong ones.
  4. I'm going to be there and I am WAY past 30. I had a great time on the boat trip in November meeting Coldplayers of all ages and am looking forward to meeting more at Lollapalooza!
  5. Over in the Twitter thread they're guessing that DLIBYH - Don't Let It Break Your Heart.
  6. Chris just tweeted about Jonny: Watching Jonny Buckland playing a new bit on DLIBYH. He is in a new zone of wonderfulness. CM 2 minutes ago Awwww......
  7. A friend of mine in Chicago tried to get a 1-day ticket for Friday yesterday and they WERE sold out.
  8. You CAN find it on YouTube. Not the whole video, all together, but song by song. The Tour Diary is there, too - I think it's broken up into five or six sections. Try searching on Coldplay 2003. Good luck!
  9. Same here. I'm really disappointed because I've never seen Muse and wanted to do so, but the main reason I'm coming to Chicago is to see Coldplay. This'll be my first time at a festival this size. Can someone give me a quick primer on the protocol for getting up front? Is it simply get to the front of the stage early in the a.m. and stay there all day?
  10. Watched the video of the Rock am Ring show and was blown away. As many have said, I remembered why I fell in love with this band in the first place. And back when VLV was released with a song called "Cemeteries of London" did you ever imagine it could be such a barn-burner of a festival song? Can't wait for Lollapalooza.
  11. I'm one of the fans who really likes ETIAW. Everyone is definitely allowed his or her opinion, and I can understand why fans who were waiting for the next "Yellow" are disappointed. However, spare some thought for the marketing aspects behind the single's release. The single is meant to get people - some of whom may never have listened to Coldplay before - interested in the festival shows and in LP5. So the song had to be accessible to the casual listener, and the band went the danceable route to make it so. No, it's not "Warning Sign" but it's not crap, either. I have to smile a little and wonder, if media such as this had been around in 1967, we'd have had Beatles fans dissing "Sgt. Pepper" and longing for the times when we had lyrics such as "beep beep and beep beep yeah!" And seeing the videos from last night makes me even more eager for the album!
  12. This. I just downloaded ETIAW from Amazon and, when I play it in Windows Media Player, the composer shown is Adrienne Anderson. Obviously the composers of "I Go To Rio" are credited along with the band. So no plagiarism.
  13. Been away for a few days - it's so exciting to see all this news! I was keeping up with the tweets while on the road, nice to see the photos and videos a little bigger than my SmartPhone does them! One thing occurred to me looking at the photos. Forgive me if anyone has come up with this idea earlier, but have we consider that the album's title could be UFO? I'm just wonderin'......
  14. Checking in!
  15. Congratulations! And thank you so much for sharing the photos. They all look fit and SOOOOO good!
  16. Got my 3-day pass yesterday. I was procrastinating, thinking of getting VIP, but the decision was made for me as the VIPs sold out! Got hotel room -- it's great to have this to look forward to!
  17. Lovely late spring Sunday, birds are playing outside, sunny and warm, and I am... checking in.
  18. LP5 belongs with me Not swallowed in the Bakery. (Swallowed in the Sea) And, in the end, We lie awake and we dream of LP5's escape. (The Escapist)
  19. Checking in. Damn. Nothing.
  20. Checking in. Wondering what's going on with all these 4-year-old "drugs" threads being bumped! :laugh3:
  21. Booked my hotel, but am still making a decision about the type of ticket. Is the VIP worth it, anyone?
  22. Good for you! Congrats. Did you tell hiim we're lovin' the longer hair?
  23. Hi, girls, Just rediscovered this after quite some time. 4 minutes 15 seconds of pure gorgeousness. And the little smile at the end is priceless. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mm0n_ZCzb7g]YouTube - Coldplay - Viva La Vida (Song of the Year) Official Alternate Music Video[/ame] (The Berrygirl in me loves the way Guy is earnestly "ooohing" at the end, too.)
  24. Really enjoyed the new episode and congratulations to everyone involved! Saket, you are terrific. Loved you talking about the studiofeed and how you "slowed the video, reversed the video, slowed and reversed the video" - made me laugh!
