Yeah. They definitely shot a lot of Rihanna so they can use it live and stuff. I'm no huge fan of PoC, but I'm positive the video won't be 3 minutes of Rihanna looking into camera.

That was a tough one. I tend to love live versions of songs I already adore. Which is why it was tough not voting for Hurts Like Heaven and Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall. But, man, Us Against The World is just a whole other song when played live. I'm completely in love with it. I love Chris' simple acoustic guitar and Will's smooth voice.

Also, the descriptions say So it seems it was just for the live Coldplay tour, and not for the video. What do you guys think?

This is weird. I have several band shirts, but I've never owned any Coldplay ones. I've been a fan forever, and I just never thought that a shirt, particularly one that says "coldplay" could ever do justice as to what the band and their music mean to me, which is not the case with other bands whose shirts I'll be happy to wear. The closest thing I've ever had, was a customization I did to my favorite jeans. I made a one color stencil of Jonny from a picture from the AROBTTH tour, it was white on black denim. For most people, it looked like a blob. But I loved it. It was subtle enough that it meant something for me but for not for someone who has heard of the band. This is in no way a criticism to anyone who wears Coldplay shirts. I've looked through shirts that are more subtle, and not as obvious coldplay references, but still, I haven't connected to a shirt in a level that I think I should in order to wear it.

Even if it doesn't ever come out officially in stores, chances are, we'll still be able to download it in HD, just like we have with old DVDs that never saw the stores.

I'd definitely miss Politik. It's one of their best songs - the first I ever heard - and I think, and hope, it comes back. ^They don't? I realize they don't play it live (only Fix You) much, but I've never seen them say anything like that. ^That WOULD be terrible

The drumming sounds pretty epic live. But something sounds a little off.., maybe the vocals. Does anyone else think so?

It's been confirmed that musicians performing at the special Olympic concerts in the summer will in fact be miming to backing tracks. A spokesperson for the London 2012 Organising Committee (Locog) told music website the Nme "There are elements that will be pre-recorded, but much of the show will be live." It's odd news, and perhaps disappointing for many, although the nature of the performers hasn't been revealed yet and so any grumblings would likely be confined to any bands booked for the show. It's been rumoured for weeks that this might end up being the eventuality, and the reasons behind it are thought to be to do with the inconsistent British summertime weather and the size and shape of the Olympic stadium. Sound tests were conducted at the venue and its bowl-shaped design meant that the sound was swamped with microphone feedback. The gigs will take place on July 27th and August 12th, with the likes of The Who, Adele and Coldplay all rumoured to be playing. Of course the other big gig taking place in London to mark the end of the Olympics will also fall on August 12th and will feature Blur playing possibly their final ever gig as they headline a Hyde Park bill that features New Order and The Specials among others.

PoC is not in my top Coldplay songs. Heck, it's not even in my top MX songs. But I hardly think it's the worst. In my opinion the worst Coldplay song is Up in Flames. It's boring and annoying. ^Truth

That Grammys video was one of the very first Coldplay videos I ever saw. Back in 2003 when I first heard of them, I headed to Limewire and downloaded everything I could possibly find. That performance of Politik was the first one. It made me fall completely in love with them instantly. And I still think it's one of their best live performances ever!

Yellow. I remmember watching the video on VH1 on a "Best Famous Couples" list show. They were obviously talking about Chris and Gwyneth - people I didn't quite know then. But that video stuck with me. I knew my brother listened to that band - next thing I knew I'm downloading Parachutes, AROBTTH and any videos the internet will find me.
