"Playing my song" does sound simple, but hey so does "nobody said it was easy" but The Scientist is one of their best songs imo, I think we should wait to hear this in context-rest of the lyrics and melody- and then we'll be able to pass a fair judgement.

A blog would be really good :wideeyed: We've received nothing from coldplay.com yet, so an update through the official website would be nice.

That last part is something I'd probably want to avoid, at least until I get my own opinion clear, which may take quite a few listens :P. It would still be difficult, though.

I'm not with you...even if I tried not to listen to it- which I won't do- I would still end up hearing it somewhere...

So strange they start with lyrics, though...I remember before, with the last albums, we tried hard to figure out what the lyrics were after listening to the first single and now we are apparently being given them in advance to the song...:shrug:

I think that, even though everyone expects them to happen by now at almost every concert, it is still something that gets people excited at the end ( kinda like the fireworks :P) I speak for myself, but generally when going to a concert of a band/artist you like, you don't want it to end and this gives you the illusion that you are getting those extra minutes while keeping you aware that this time the "goodbyes" are for real. Plus, some artists generaly change the songs they perform during the encore and it is always a bit of a surprise when you don't know what songs you will get to hear.

That would be so great!!!! :bomb: maybe one tiny piece of info each day and on Friday KABOOM! :awesome: big announcement! or tomorrow is fine (the Christmas Lights song/video announcement was made on a Wednesday :whistle:)
