  1. That's bull. Did you only start getting symptoms recently? Because I thought you had run/worked out/biked or suchnot for quite a while.
  2. me want, because deerhunter iz gud.
  3. I wouldn't. :snobby: Jk I would :awesome:
  4. Used to use Winamp but it started getting buggy on me and I switched to Songbird today, I really like it. I don't like the iTunes interface, it's annoying and to my knowledge there isn't even a way to enque songs (maybe you need an add-on? does Apple even let you do that without hacking your copy? I dunno... Apple is just so non-customizable usually, which is not to my taste). My old mp3 player broke so when I'm out of the house it's an ancient (8 years old, I think... so half as old as I am haha) 1 GB player for me that's served me well in between all my normal players for a few years now. Then CDs for music that I can blast, and a lot of my dad's old vinyls for if I want to listen to classical or jazz/blues/whatever. (<3 vinyls, our player's a little shitty though.)
  5. aww that's really sweet of him! :D
  6. The similarity so far to Pitchfork is disturbing. Suburbs got most overrated and best on Pitchfork as well, and Sprawl II got best song also.
  7. lolzapparatjik. Then again I didn't listen to like any EPs this year. I feel like I shouldn't comment on every single award, I'll shut my trap now. ;D
  8. Lol, I think it's the same as Pitchfork's. May I ask who came in second, if you still have the data lying around? (All I Need eff tee dubs btw)
  9. aww, you're not a noob! I dun even know how long I've been here. Like two years? Shit is ridiculus.
  10. I don't want to get the vinyl unless I'm utterly in love with the album cuz I'm too poor. Probably going to opt for the MP3.
  11. I just saw a facebook status about it and then my eyes got really big and I thought it was faek but then I was like "shit no it isn't" and I was just like O________________O WAT WILL IT BEEEEEEEEEEE and I decided I'm too poor to buy the vinyl, just gonnna nab the mp3s I think...
  12. sakdghfd;slfjas ;fjsldsafjdslfdsfsadf it would cost me 2 months' worth of savings at least to buy the vinyl package thing but... i want to... really... badly....................... but yet i like money... omg conflict
  13. Well, I wouldn't have wanted to watch it in class :P I guess it just didn't hit home with you, that makes sense, because Tom Hulce played a pretty irreverent Mozart with a really annoying laugh and all that got on a lot of peoples' nerves, most of my friends who've watched it loved the way he played him though (and I obviously did as well). That was partially a historical thing though, cuz if I'm not mistaken he actually did (according to letters his friends wrote, etc) have that laugh. I dunno, the film just has so many allegories and imagery and it's just directed so well. I found it pretty deep and powerful. To each his own, though!
  14. What? How did you hate it?? haha I realize that I was so gushing about it it may have sounded like I was being sarcastic but... I just don't think I've ever enjoyed a movie so much. It was really powerful.
  15. Oh god you have to. Make sure you watch the Director's Cut and have 3 solid hours where it will be dark and quiet and nobody will bother you and you can play it very very loudly. I was completely mesmerized the entire time. Unbelievably good movie. Would have killed if anyone distracted me from the experience while I watched it.
  16. haha well I watched Amadeus for the first time last night and then by the end of the movie (after I came out of my post-movie reverie) I was like "you know... nobody has actually ever been better than Mozart since him, at all... CONCERTO TIME ". it's been a lovely experience.
  17. nothing is sup, I've been lazing around the house reading fancy books and listening to classical music all day. and I went to my friend's piano recital and he was AMAZING. it's all very bohemian. :charming: if only I had a foreign kind of coffee and some white wine
  18. hi! I feel bad for leaving right after I posted that and said herro.
  19. flumpool! I think they're my favorite J-pop band :wacky:
  20. somebody watch this it's perfect [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=se_Swf7-68M]YouTube - Mozart - Rondo Alla Turca (Orchestra)[/ame] also, HI TAMMI
  21. Amadeus - Shit. completely speechless for over 3 hours. possibly the most perfect movie I have ever seen. jsyk everyone.
  22. Yeah he was, he did a really good job. Also, I say this every year, but I'm really annoyed how in each category the nominees are basically "Inception, Black Swan, The King's Speech, The Social Network, Winter's Bone", etc. (Plus some of "The Fighter thrown in for shits and gigs" :P) I haven't seen all of them but I guess they're just the only actually good movies this year, but that makes me sad cuz they have to just nominate one movie for like everything each year...
