Could you be a funeral director?
No, never. I could embalm, but I don't have the personality that can be good at consistently comforting people I barely know on their losses of loved ones. I don't think I have the emotional skills at all.

The Lady GaGa Appreciation Thread
Literally dozens of people I know went. :( I've lost tons of indie cred over this but OH GOD I love Gaga so much. Pop music's not in such a bad state after all

Crests of Daylight/Glacial Fox/Crests, Foaming at the Mouth
Is This It is godly, I hear the others suck and I'm too afraid that I'll be so disappointed by them I'll kill myself, so all I've heard is their first album. It's so good though that I'm fairly content with that. I think Someday is going to be the song I listen to when I'm 50 and flash back immensely to high school, it already has such a nostalgic feel for me only a few months after first hearing it...

Fun Fact:
Yeah, that's what parthenogenetic aminals usually do. Put the rest of us sexually reproducing fools to shame, really.

Fun Fact:
Tbh nobody can beat Micromalthus debilis at being kinky, I'd just keep my head down and not embarrass myself by publishing anything about any sort of potentially-kinky beetle activity.
-
Fun Fact:
Micromalthus debilis, a species of beetle, reproduces in the following way: Sometimes when males aren't available, females reproduce by parthenogenesis, which is basically where they give birth to clones of themselves. But instead of just doing regular old garden-variety parthenogenesis, the females of this species give birth to one male offspring, who then hangs out on his mom's cuticle for four or five days, then he inserts his head into her vagina (all right, all right, beetles don't have vaginas, "genital aperture" is the correct term), crawls in, and eats her from the inside out. source: http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1046/j.1439-0469.2002.00183.x/abstract;jsessionid=86963C5EE425735C15D332B329C522D3.d02t02 except you can't really see all of it. But Stephen Jay Gould says it's true so you know it has to be. In his words, "Greater love hath no woman."

YUSSS- Miscarriage could lead to death penalty
WOW you guise, misogony is bad? I can't believe there's such an intense discussion over this, this is obviously one of those bills that aren't going to go anywhere, Georgia obviously just needs to do some representative-pruning. Maybe I'm being undersensetive but it's silly to think that this law would actually be passed.- when the bands were criticized.
love.- Intelligence
^Counterexample 1; your hypothesis is incorrect, QED- Brahms or Wagner?
Yeah I know. The whole Romantic period had some really fucked up personal dynamics between all the different composers/their relatives, etc. Crazy times they were.- Intelligence
Not as good as negative rate.- Intelligence
Better than second-rate.- Brahms or Wagner?
The screwing Liszt's daughter wasn't all him. She was pretty into it too. To be fair.- Brahms or Wagner?
Yae! I'm obviously not sure which waltz you mean but I'm surprised you thought it was actively bad, he was really self-critical and burned most of his compositions rather than let something he considered sub-standard be published. Course what he thought is above-standard doesn't necessarily click with individual tastes, especially not those today. Boring I can understand though.- Brahms or Wagner?
Btw, out of boredom I asked /mu/ about it and got a very witty and good reply, which I selected forthwith and then put on imageshack posthaste for lolz to be enjoyed by many of the pretentious persuasion.- The term "random".
Oh really? I'd go for the sandpaper gloves. They always seem to get the point across better.- Brahms or Wagner?
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GjzHlev00c&feature=feedlik]YouTube - Brahms symphony no.3 in F - Movement 1[/ame]?- The shit on the internet that people believe.
^Procrastinating.- The term "random".
- Brahms or Wagner?
classical poll! aka let's all be pretentious and talk about a dead art movement!!!- The shit on the internet that people believe.
