  1. Am I seriously the only extrovert of everyone who voted in this? Although I didn't take the test or anything, I just said what my own opinion of myself is. I guess I'm an inward-looking extrovert, but I'm definitely still an extrovert.
  2. QUEEN QUEEN QUEEN QUEEN QUEEN! :wacky: Getting into Queen was the best decision ever whoooo!!!
  3. I can already tell my mixtape is gonna be bamfin', I'm gonna have like a million different genres on it and it's gonna be cuhhraaazzzyyy :DDD
  4. Well you can't really be underrated if you're a band like the Beatles... hahaha. I like them quite a bit but even I think they're horrifically overrated by a lot of people.
  5. Marr is gifted, sure, but not truly original in style... more tasteful, definitely, but so's everyone. And Jonny Greenwood is a nice guy but he's not up there in the list of top guitarists at all.
  6. DEEP EXISTENTIAL CRISIS Not really. I think I just felt like it. haha. this got a lot more replies than I was expecting too. and incidentally: I SEE A LITTLE SILHOUETTO OF A MAN SCARAMOUCHE SCARAMOUCHE WILL YOU DO THE FANDANGO?!?!?!?? ...:sweatdrop:
  7. Yeah... I can get thinking The Edge is better because his guitar sound is to be fair somewhat unique but Marr and Greenwood? trololo
  8. I've never tried to get into them, I mean I've heard Stairway to Heaven (which bored me... I don't see how it's so popular) but little else. I don't like the kind of band Led Zeppelin is in general, it's basically just like "LOL I PRETTY GOOD AT MAKING LOUD NOISES ON GUITAR AND SINGING LOUD LOL ROCK!" -- I don't like most music from that time period, actually. I like The Beatles and then I basically skip over a whole two decades. (Except for Queen. which I totally just got into a few days ago basically. mind still = totally blown by everything. tee hee.) edit: Oh yeah. I've listened to a few Grateful Dead concerts and they're actually really good... but the Deadheads are disgusting and I've never really tried beyond that to get into them (haven't downloaded anything). I'm pretty sure I would kind of pretty much like them if I did though.
  9. The Suburbs was so disappointingly bad it made me basically stop liking the whole band; TKOL, well, I haven't listened to either that album or Radiohead in a while, but at least I liked the album to the point where it was all I listened to for a weekend (which is what usually happens with albums ranging from quite good to great for me). The Suburbs, though... no, just no. You can have a long album, sure, but you have to make sure all of it's good if you do that... on the other hand, TKOL is basically all good, and it's short enough to keep your interest.
  10. I wish I'd done it last time, but I didn't have like any time... I'll do mine during spring break this time though :D!! sign me up.
  11. 4 years of english um 3 years of math I think 3 years of science? 2 years of history/geography? 1 year of computer, unless you're in certain advanced classes (the computer class is retarded) 1/2 year PE and health both, stupidest shit ever 1 year humanities, or you can take TOK instead (in both you don't learn anything) Most of the individual classes that are required have to be easy so that everyone who doesn't give a shit about anything at my school can pass. and the administration wants to make everyone take 1 AP/IB class before graduating, but I don't think they'll get away with that
  12. Japan's meltdown is so not like Chernobyl too, it's not even a complete meltdown at all... the media's blowing everything so out of proportion.
  13. wellp from worst to best pablo honey (we don't even talk about that album) the bends tkol ok computer (except tkol may be better than ok computer... I've outgrown that album a lot...) hail to the thief amnesiac in rainbows kid a
  14. or, governments could fund research into cold fusion and save the day
  15. a) Japan is not doing that bad, as far as we can tell the radiation isn't that bad (I assume the gov's obscuring as much bad stuff as they can though to be fair) and b) It was after the worst earthquake evar basically on top of a fault, which most people aren't dumb enough to build most reactors there and c) Nuclear energy is so clean and efficient and amazing that it breaks my heart that this one disaster would set it back as much as it already has. sadface.
  16. For the record, downloading the Greatest Hits album may have been the best decision I ever made. :nice:
  17. 40 years! Queen was ahead of its time... I forget about that a lot.
  18. Mine's better.
  19. I might go with that one first, I normally hate Greatest Hits records, but there's just SO MUCH to pick from to listen to first :dizzy: Plus from what I can tell Queen is one of those bands whose sound changed a lot over the years, so I dunno even which period I like best...
  20. so. I never really got into Queen. but I like almost all of the individual songs I've heard. but they have a million albums. so I bumped this to ask everyone what the best one is. thank you for your time.
  21. I have a friend whose father owned a funeral home, it's in the care of a board of trustees right now until she and her brother turn 18, then they're going to co-own it (or probably sell it, knowing them). it's pretty neat. (her dad died btw, it was a little ambiguous I realized)
