You know you're addicted to Coldplay when...
And the symbols, are they white and green-ish? Oh man, I wish I had some more money. Stupid university. I'll probably get it anyway though.

Convert him! :P Well, U2 are really great. Did you see the Achtung Baby documentary last night? Very cool.

So he makes about €1900 a month then. What else do we know about this guy? :P

[11-June-2011] Coldplay @ Pinkpop Landgraaf festival, Netherlands
^Yeah that sucks. Stupid people. Well it happened when the gates opened. Everyone started pushing, but when we finally got through the gates we actually had lots of space in the front. Edit:

Added a random New Year tv countdown video because I thought it had all of Paradise, but it was just the beginning, so I removed it again. :dozey: Haha, get them to the forumssss! Not silly at all. New Year's Eve is the time to reflect and tears are a good thing. (Don't say anything about waterfalls though. :P) Do you mean the expensive hoodie? WANT that.

Yes! I use my Viva shirt for pajamas and soon I'll receive my MX shirt (the one you could get with your tickets for some shows), which I've heard is huge, so: new pajamas. :D

^How many have you converted to our side? :wink3: I can't find it on Uitzendinggemist.nl... It was on Ned 3, they showed the top ten in music videos like a countdown to midnight. I didn't watch it closely because I had a small party in my house and I tuned in when Viva had already started, but still... In between songs they interviewed BN'ers about the next song. I think I heard Sabrina Starke and Rob Stenders praising Clocks. Can't remember the other ones. Just a weird moment, thinking about how lucky I was to see them three times in 2011. :wacky: (Always get a bit sentimental on NYE.)

Viva La Vida (Thin White Duke Remix) during London's New Year celebrations!
Part of me is against this huge amount of firework but I can't help but love it each year :dazzled:

Random Coldplay thoughts...
^Yeah I love that version too. LOL when Chris takes his hat off in the end. I had a conversation with my mother the other day, who is a massive U2 fan. We used to almost fight about which band was better. I know whom I inherited my obsessive side from... :dozey: Nowadays, she's more on the Coldplay camp. (The Chris Crush is paying off.) She said: 'The difference between those two bands is that Coldplay are more sparkly and real. Bono has a big ego, he doesn't really show his true self, while Chris Martin is a more honest and warm person. U2 are so heavy and huge, but with Coldplay it comes straight from the heart.'

When during NYE you're listening to the annual Top2000 best songs ever (which starts on Christmas day and #1 is played just before midnight) and Coldplay are twice in the top ten with Clocks and Viva so those videos are shown on tv around eleven and sort of famous Dutch musicians say how much they love them and they show some Pinkpop footage and you get sentimental about the past year and go all teary-eyed because you saw three Coldplay concerts and it's just one of those moments where you realize how much you love them.

Paradise Video in comparison to previous CP videos
Agreed with the two previous posts. But, Talk was funny too. And Strawberry Swing. And the alternative Viva. But this one is the funniest by far. It's different from all their videos, but then again, all of them are different from each other. I think they're always creative with their videos, there isn't one I don't like. (Well, maybe LiTii, but that's just me not liking puppets. Oh and the official Viva video. :|) It has the vibe, colour and warm feeling of their last two albums, but the originality and cute weirdness is still the 'old' Coldplay. Makes me happy. This video makes Paradise less cliché, which was much needed. It's a new interpretation of the song, shows you a different angle. I love how at first you go 'wtf??' but the more you watch it, the more layers you find. Funny how they made it in very short time, yet I think it's one of their deepest. Though essentially they're just joking around. I do think the focus is still mainly on Chris. But that's ok and I think it's the way they all feel best. :elephant:

[11-June-2011] Coldplay @ Pinkpop Landgraaf festival, Netherlands
Oh, sounds horrible. I think you were lucky this guy helped you out, because it was just every man for himself. But then again, he helped himself by helping you of course... I know exactly what you went through. Never again. So it happened on the right side too... Then a lot more people must have had a similar experience. Weird. I would have liked to hear just a small message from the organization. I mean, our lives were in serious danger! :P Edit: I've sent them an e-mail. I want to know if they've heard more stories like ours, there must have been at least one person complaining about it.

^Oooh I know, I must have been close to where you were. Were you on the left side? The pushing took so long in my memory, but it might have been just a few minutes. Me and my friend couldn't breathe for a while (I almost passed out), so we both seriously thought we were going to die as well. It was one of the scariest moments of my life, I was so close to blind panic. When we got out, I started crying with pure relief. That gates system sucks with huge acts like these... I never heard much about it, did you? I don't think many people noticed it at all, we were just with the unlucky few who got stuck in the middle. Yeah, thankfully we had Ahoy to make up for it. Stupid Dutch people. I don't understand that at all. So happy we got such a great crowd at the Ahoy. :wacky:

[17-Dec-2011] Coldplay @ Ahoy, Rotterdam, Netherlands
^ Well, it was overwhelming. :wink3: Well done! My mum also came with me. She's always loved them, but she's really a huge fan since, well, basically since Chris Martin got buff. And now she wants me to e-mail the latest news, pics and interviews. Because I have better connections.
