  2. You know, after I've listened to it quite a few times now, it's starting to grow on me a teeny little bit, I guess, I don't like to say it, but for the sake of Coldplay, I'm going to say it's a half decent song and not their worst, but still, I wouldn't class it as a 'good' song, because let's face it, it isn't, it's mainstream, synth pop garbage, which is a lot of what I hate, but as long as Chris' voice is there to guide me through the downside of the album, I'm content with it :inquisitive:
  3. Dissapointment: Princess of China, abomination, I didn't know what to think when I first heard it, I just really hope for the sake of Coldplay I grow to like this song. Suprise: UFO! It was such a treat to hear atleast 2 minutes of Parachutes back on this album! And just the fact the majority of the album actually turned out to be a masterpiece!

  5. I just finished listening to it through just the once so far and what a ride it was! So these ratings are on the first impression: 1. Charlie Brown - 9.8/10 (Just, love it, one of my all time favourites of Coldplay and I'm sure it'll grow on me even more!) 2. Hurts Like Heaven - 9.5/10 3. Us Against The World - 9/10 4. U.F.O. - 9/10 (Only song on Mylo Xyloto I could've seen on Parachutes those 11 years ago! Glad they included this song, it was a treat to hear a glimpse of their older sound) 5. Up with the Birds - 8.8/10 6. Paradise - 8.5/10 7. Don't Let it Break Your Heart - 7.8/10 (Although on first thoughts, I was thinking I could grow to like this a lot!) 8. Up in Flames - 7.2/10 9. Every Teardrop is a Waterfall - 6.8/10 10. Major Minus - 6.8/10 11. A Hopeful Transmission - 5/10 12. Mylo Xyloto - 5/10 13. Princess of China - 2.5/10 (Yes, I even enjoyed the majority of interludes more than this track, I'm sorry, it just didn't do it for me, maybe I'll change my mind after a few more listens or maybe I could grow to loathe it, although I'm not going to abuse it like most people are doing.) 14. M.M.I.X. - 2/10 (Just a bunch of noise really, although good build up to ETIAW towards the end I guess.)
  6. After only finding out an hour ago after coming home from college that the album leaked...I have now given in, well, I'm downloading it as we speak, but I may not even listen to it, if anything I'll probably only listen to the songs they've played at festivals and delete the songs we haven't heard until the album physically arrives at my door next Monday! :P
  7. Arcade Fire are just a teardrop compared to Coldplay, they suck major ass!
  8. Is it just D and A all the way throughout? Seems quite simple, but amazing how they can create such a beautiful song with just two chords! :D Loving it by the way, I imagine it's going to become a huge Summer hit, had it on YouTube now for the past hour :D
  9. New to the site, just wanted to say hello, and mainly posting this just to see how it works haha :). Coldplay obviously being my favourite band, massive fan, wanted to join you lot cause I'd feel like I wouldn't be a true fan myself if I wasn't apart of this forum, as much as I've heard about it :D So yea, that's about it haha :)
