  1. Gosh, didnt knew VLVODAAHF is already 15 years old, how time flies :D
  2. Quite simple : The critics just select the stuff they hate (especially now about AHFOD) and forget about they are still doing some of their very best work (Clocks, Yellow or VLV ) on stage. Probably more are going to be added. And I see them putting the same effort and passion into it like they ever did. I think the way Chris threatens his piano in Clocks is a very good example here. And there are obviously songs like ASFOS or AOAL meant to move and dance around on stage. Again, rewatch their Toronto gig in 2006 ,he already behaved like that back then. At the very beginning he was more like a shy school guy, so the others were. And now they found the joy to express themselves. And I really like them as being that happy Band as they are now. Especially the kind way they behave with their fans, even backstage. Finally, its kinda funny : Some did blame them before the release of AHFOD for it becoming to poppy. In fact, all of us have been quite aware what to expect. And now all those people just intensify their criticism like the style and direction of AHFOD would have been a big surprise. Ridiculous. Just my two cents
  3. We definitely should stay away from personal issues. And even if I dont agree with the content, a bit of niveau should be kept in here. Otherwise its a mess and we can move to Flo Rida forums.
  4. Well put, Jedi. I got the same point of view.
  5. You put a lot of effort in your post, my respect therefore. But I cant agree with the content. I dont want to go into much further detail, just saying that now their discography is really huge and there should be a bit to pick for everyone. Speaking for myself, I cant expect them doing music always fitting to my personal circumstances. Thats just wrong. Furthermore, those positive vibes they deliver now do motivate me and lift up my life, which has been very tough in the last couple of months. And if I do feel the need to listen to something melancholic,i grab out the fantastic Parachutes, for example. Finally, Oasis is still one of my favourite bands ever. And they sung about ecstatic parties or how it is being a millionaire. But I cant hate them for, they achieved that on their own. Its iconic. And same goes for Coldplay. But I totally respect your point of view.
  6. Who is she ? Does she sell out stadiums? Has she sold wide over 80million records? No. She'd better revisits her embarrasing "essay "
  7. Ehm,isnt that number a few days old ?o_O
  8. Ok Coldplay, so drink for me. drink for me!
  9. Havent they been quite far behind in terms of sold copies just two days ago?
  10. I know, its just I dont get what people get so overexcited with Adele. I gave 25 a listen, her voice range is the same throughout the whole record.
  11. It seems like they did,Jedi :) What a great afford against Adele with her cheesy record
  12. Wooohoooo! :D http://www.officialcharts.com/charts/albums-chart-update/ THEY MADE IT!!!
  13. I love Chris and the band. But we should have learned how to take his interviews by now ;) To me,their still one of my two favourite bands ever. And this will last as long as they gonna exsist. And as long as theyre able to produce stuff like Up&Up im all happy.
  14. Charlie Brown is anything but pretending to be happy. So I totally disagree. To me, its more an really emotional song.
  15. Great Performance! Just replace Magic with Violet Hill and im in heaven.
  16. Ronnie O Sullivan replied to getithom's topic in Up&Up
In fact, Oasis and Coldplay always have been my favourite bands. So yes, that would be heaven. Just Liam would be missing :(
  17. Ronnie O Sullivan replied to getithom's topic in Up&Up
Hopefully Noel teams at Glastonbury to join them for UP&UP :)
  18. Ronnie O Sullivan replied to getithom's topic in Up&Up
Obviously the first solo MUST be by Noel. It has written Champagne Supernova all over.
  19. Ronnie O Sullivan replied to getithom's topic in Up&Up
We got exactly the same fav songs :)
  20. Average song- im predicting to be the one left off the AHFOD tour setlist.
  21. Ronnie O Sullivan replied to getithom's topic in Up&Up
Just three short questions : 1. How long is Noels guitar part ? 2. How good is Noels guitar part ? 3. Is it easy to notice the difference in Noels way of playing the guitar compared to Jonny? Thx folks :)
  22. I dont remember exactly, its probably two months ago,or less . Though, I also cant recall where it has been written but im sure a few members on the board do remember. Its no invention by myself ;)
  23. Pretty sure thats the song The Script (or who was it? )described as "will please all of the Coldplay fans ".
