  1. . . . Someone want to check it? I would but I'm on my dad's laptop
  2. :D Good luck on whatever it is that you're studying for
  3. But at least back then he idolized good artists like U2 and Radiohead Le sigh. Will, would you kindly rap Chris on the head for me? Go study :whip:
  4. Well no, not the money-grabbing itself of course, but rather the fact that he's able to play the part well enough to convince hordes of screaming fangirls. In all probability, there are other (read: more mature) people making these decisions for him, but in the end he's still the one that has to play the part. Exactly. I don't know if you saw my edit, but it does worry me that maybe he can't see the difference. All of these pop and hip-hop elements are going to take their toll eventually on Coldplay's quality of music--even if it's just Chris that's exposed to it. Hopefully this is just a phase.
  5. Maybe it's another marketing technique :laugh4: But seriously, have you ever heard Chris put down another artist? He's just a polite guy. He recognizes him as another 'big' artist and I'm sure Chris respects that. I mean, even I respect JB as someone who was able (whether through marketing techniques or actual song quality--probably the former) to sell lots and lots of songs/albums even though I despise his music. EDIT: Although him repeatedly saying that he admires artists like Lady Gaga has me worried :anxious:
  6. So . . . I'm thinking that this show is just the most random compilation of things. One minute they're talking about drug addiction, and the next they're talking about gondolas :laugh4:
  7. Nah, my sister wants to watch it with me, so I'm going to wait. Plus, we'll get to watch it on a big HD TV screen :sneaky:
  8. :dozey: Probably. This always seems to happen to us, doesn't it?
  9. Commercials are usually 30 seconds long, so it depends
  10. Ohhh . . . well, it doesn't come on until 9 for me anyway :D Thanks!
  11. Ohh, okay :D :freak: Wait . . . I'm watching NBC and it's on Meet the Press. What station are you on?
  12. O hai, thanks for reminding me :D They haven't been on yet, have they? :anxious:
  13. Like Twisted Logic? Albeit, that was meant to hide 'Til Kingdom Come, but still :P
  14. Pretty much this. Plus, it will probably make more sense when considered from the album perspective.
  15. Urgh. Well, this is a tough decision. I think I'll listen to Hurts Like Heaven and maybe Charlie Brown and then try to resist the rest of the tracks
  16. So this is kind of random, but I lol'd at your avatar :P
  17. Okay, I'm not a fan of Paradise, but I have to say that the JRS version was awesome :dazzled: Jonny solo = epic.
  18. I'm trying to decide if I want to help in the madness, or get away because I'm 60% sure that the entire Internet is going to explode if MX leaks :P
  19. DO EET!! Methinks this Japan shipment is going to trigger a leak sometime in the next 48 hours :sneaky:
  20. Hmm. Well, it sounds like it could be legit, anyway. But I really doubt that he could memorize all of the lyrics and chords in a single listen (assuming that he was one of the lucky few that managed to get into one of the listening parties).
  21. I love how there's covers of this song popping up everywhere and it isn't even out yet :dozey:
