Kaleidoscope EP
I haven't listened the soundcheck and I'm not gonna listen it, but after reading all those comments, I just hope that whatever it is won't be part of Kaleidoscope EP and instead of that it's something of a new future album in 2018 or 2019. Viva part II... Long live Life or La Muerte y Todos Sus Amigos.

Hypnotised - first song off Kaleidoscope
Man, I Ran Away is probably my favourite b-side and also one of my favourites songs of them.

Hypnotised - first song off Kaleidoscope
0kay now I can say it, I cried the second time I heard it. I have a knot in the throat. Remind me of better times, pure nostalgia. It gives you that feeling of when you have memories you don't have even lived, do you know what I mean?

Hypnotised - first song off Kaleidoscope
I knew they could do it again. I have goosebumps and almost crying. The sad feelings of the first eras are back. Honestly, I think they are a lot more inspirated when they make these kind of melodies and lyrics. Absolutely heartrending.

Kaleidoscope EP
Yes, maybe is more indie or alternative rock, but there are also elements of pop in it. I think that's what Coldplay should add to their music. They can put a little touch of pop, but it's not necessary that they fill an album with lots of pop. It would be like adding tons of sugar to a cake just because you like sweet things. Sometimes it's better that you also add a pinch of salt, and then it would have more balance.

Kaleidoscope EP
To me, this is what a good pop-rock album is these days: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=Dz5FDFYGR3Q;list=PLEWhJ8RfTY_0mLzI2901VeFjkMbHfDIWP Or at least it is what I think. It is what I like. But 0k, it's just my taste, others may think it is not. But I would like Coldplay to release something like this or similar.

Kaleidoscope EP
"A kaleidoscope is an optical instrument, typically a cylinder with mirrors containing loose, colored objects such as beads or pebbles and bits of glass. As the viewer looks into one end, light entering the other end creates a colorful pattern, due to repeated reflection in the mirrors." "A kaleidoscope is an optical instrument in which bits of glass, held loosely at the end of a rotating tube, are shown in continually changing symmetrical forms by reflection in two or more mirrors set at angles to each other. A kaleidoscope operates on the principle of multiple reflection, where several mirrors are placed at an angle to one another. Typically there are three rectangular mirrors set at 60° to each other so that they form an equilateral triangle, but other angles and configurations are possible. The 60° angle generates an infinite regular grid of duplicate images of the original, with each image having six possible angles and being a mirror image or an unreversed image. As the tube is rotated, the tumbling of the colored objects presents varying colors and patterns. Arbitrary patterns show up as a symmetrical pattern created by the reflections. A two-mirror kaleidoscope yields a pattern or patterns isolated against a solid black background, while the three-mirror (closed triangle) type yields a pattern that fills the entire visual field." I can imagine 3 or 4 new songs, the new version of Everglow and 1 or 2 remixes. And every song being a reflection of the other one, like a mirror image or an unreversed image. Same patterns and colours and at the same time, different. It would be crazy if we get another colour song...

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
I'm sure that for LP8 they will do something experimental and revolutionary again, just like with Viva. Possibly they will reclute Brian Eno again or maybe Jon Hopkins. I think that because I feel that it's what they planned from beginning to end, and it's a thing to do after every 3 albums. So they had Parachutes, AROBTTH and X&Y, then Viva and after that Mylo Xyloto, Ghost Stories and AHFOD = 3 albums as a trilogy, then an album that breaks the pattern and then another trilogy. So I guess and hope that AHFOD will be followed by another album in the vein of Viva.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Just listened to Glass Of Water and one thing is for sure: in LP8, Will has to come back banging the drums as he did on that song.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
You know what? I like AHFOD, but however it doesn't make me feel the way I felt with other Coldplay eras. I mean, today for example In My Place was played in a tv show, and later I also listened Prospekt's March/Poppyfields, and oh God, with those songs (and many others) I have goosebumps... I know that I really like something when I have that feeling. I don't know if it is because of my experiences when I heard those songs when they were released or if it's just the nostalgia.

Birds (Song and Video out now Jan 2) pg 17 for Vid
This could be Coldplay's "Take On Me". Anybody agrees?

X Marks The Spot [HIDDEN TRACK]
I like it. I think of it as if it was a cacophony.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Just noticed that Birds and Up With The Birds have practically the same length.

Fun (feat Tove Lo)
Definetely best song on the album for me.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
My first thoughts on first listen: - A Head Full Of Dreams (the song), great opener and one of the songs I liked the most at the moment. - It's true that Birds reminds of Undercover Of Darkness from Julian Casablancas and maybe something from The Cure? But I also like it. - Fun is probably the greatest song on the album for me. - I'm one of those ones that really like X Marks The Spot. Whatever it is, I find it interesting and I repeated it. I must be crazy, but for some reason, I like it. It is a darker song somehow and I think that the lyrics are cool. Yeah. What a pity that the sounds at the end were even cooler and suddenly they were cut off. - Up&Up is another one that I like, but I need more listens. I love the guitar parts. - Amazing Day is also 0K. - The other songs are a little meh for me. I need more listens, but overall I think that this time Coldplay has gone down the hill (and not Violet Hill, unfortunately). Maybe it is that I don't like the style they have chosen this time and that's all. I even prefered Mylo Xyloto, because the songs seem more emotional for me, at least some of them. And Ghost Stories too. A Head Full Of Dreams haven't made me cry, and that is very strange for me with a Coldplay album. I guess that I will have to wait to LP8 or an EP to see what comes in the future, but I hope that they change the style again. They should begin from zero, because it looks like someone has brainwashed them. Please Coldplay, take back to the start. They should make another revolutionary album like Viva La Vida or Death and all of His Friends, which I also feel like it was their peak, although that I still prefer AROBTTH and X&Y. But next time if they want to make really good Pop, as I said once, they should sign up that guy called Gregg Alexander, who is a fucking great producer and is waiting for them: [video=youtube;mgrEhrXHMB0]

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
You all are wrong, people. That photo they have shared with the hot air balloon will be an EP, like they did with Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends and later they released Prospekt's March. So this is the famous end of a cycle. First they called their first album Parachutes and now there will be a hot air balloon in the cover, because parachutes fall and hot air balloons go Up&Up.

AHFOD Tour Supporting Acts-Who Do You Want to See Tour With Coldplay?
That's easy: they will need Noel Gallagher to make a special appearance and play his guitar solo in Up&Up. He can support them with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, and then hit the stage when that song surrounds the stadiums. Wouldn't be amazing to hear his riff next to Jonny?

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Where are Fun and X Marks the Spot in that note?

It's curious, a long time ago I said that they should make a song called "Phoenix".

Colour Spectrum
Come on, this one is gonna reunite all the palette of colours. This one is gonna be an explosion.

X Marks The Spot [HIDDEN TRACK]
I think that regarding that the title can differ a little of all the other titles and the fact that is a Hidden Track, this one could be the rockier song of the album. I imagine and hope that we finally get one of Chinese Sleep Chant's sisters, similar to what Major Minus was.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Will there be a deluxe edition of the album or should I pre-order the CD right now? I don't want to be impatient.
