  1. [edit: shortened it] This is the time where we all make plans what we want to do in 2012. This is an idea that came to me about a month ago, and I thought about it and just would like to know what you guys think about it, and if we should make it happen. ☺ I watched a video of a Charlie Brown performance from the December tour 2011, with all these wristbands and people jumping and amazing lasers, and I thought: “Wow, I’d like to see the whole concert”. Coldplay are an amazing live band, they’ve got so incredible ideas (glowing bands, balloons, confetti, lasers….) and there are so many of us Coldplayers who can’t go to an concert, or who want to have something to remember this great tour. To make this happen, we all could record one concert and then compile all the footage we got. This has been done before with great results, like this [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-QQrSeUku8]Radiohead Live in Praha - DVD Trailer (UPDATED) - YouTube[/ame] or in the post below. But I think it can become a terrible mess if you organize all that editing and all list of available footage afterwards, so I would like to do that before the concert to make sure all that runs smoothly and we can finish something like that. This is just an idea that I had and of which I think would be awesome if we could do it. Something for all of us, by a lot of us. Something were people say:” Wow, that all is the work of fans ? The guys of Coldplaying have to be incredible :D” I just want to hear your opinion on this, if this something cool we should make possible over the next months or if that is just too much fuss and you are satisfied with youtube videos or some afterwards planning. Wish you all a happy New Year ! dreamorlife

  3. The photos that come with the songs are cool :)
  4. Thanks to HeidiBerryman from the US for the lovely card !! :) Had to take some tests, so I had no time to say properly thank you, but I'm really happy that I got a card (love that Santa ;) ) But mine is still on its way, way behind schedule, already one week late and still not there :(
  5. Can't watch it in Germany :(
  6. English and Geography are done, just Physics, Math and German to do. Now I'm searching for the free time with the chance of a bit of Christmas spirit, I'm sure I saw it somewhere yesterday...
  7. Just realized: why do they play Paradise acoustic (they did it for Radio 1 Live Lounge), while they in interviews that this song made them turning away from the acoustic thing ? They first thought this song couldn't be done stripped down, only to perform it later for the radio. That's Coldplay logic I suppose :D
  8. I hope this means a stripped-down or acoustic show. Would love to hear that (along with some rare older songs :) )
  9. Well, the PoC one is clearly fake. Or they suddenly lost every bit of taste they had...
  10. Wonder what Coldplay will play for such a crowd. Maybe something 18th century or this Hungarian chant which inspired HLH. Would love to hear that :D

  12. He released an album last year called 'Let them Talk' kinda bluesy like this song And this november he reissued a special edition...
  13. I hope Coldplay do something with this string orchestra in the background there (excited!!)
  14. I think it's good that Coldplay got some advice on synths and effects and so on. Because the way they used them on VLV and MX is in my opinion far better than on X & Y. Musically I think he made in some aspects better: I love Jonny on HLH, and I think the new influences on Paradise and PoC are cool and new. But UFO or Up with the Birds are not really that much of an improvement over Amsterdam, Trouble, The Scientist or DAAHF. But I still like his influence, especially for the fact he made their albums so good as a whole.
  15. Really some interesting questions. Guy as the shopping-champion :D
  16. You're welcome :) Just happy that about that interview, because they haven't done much else in Germany in the last time (apart from Rock am Ring, which rocked  ) As a German I love the way Will says 'Lebkuchen', and it's nice to hear them talking about such things as christmas. The interviewer didn't even ask how to pronounce Mylo Xyloto :D
  17. Will says all the clothes they wear you could buy somewhere (for all of you who like the shoes etc.) :D
