🌙 Coldplay: Moon Music 🎵 | Out October 4th | Discussion
On first listen: their best since MX. In Coldplay terms: - Title track is Coloratura 2.0 - Jupiter has a “happy Ghost Stories” feel - 🌈 is mysteriously luring and probably the “raison d'etre” of this whole thing - All My Love > Daddy - iAAM will be great live - One World is maybe one of their weakest closers but definitely a grandiose experience and meant to carry a “larger than life” message It’s my opinion.

Don’t think so friend. Seems like the title track sounds more like this: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DAbPq4TtGeZ/?igsh=MW1neXVybHVsMXQ0bw==

The 2024 leaks - Lyrics compilation
Hi everyone. Long time. After listening to these demos especially the MOTS demos I’ve deepened my disdain for the released product. It’s so frustating. Some thoughts: Biggest surprise: how much I’ve enjoyed a Coldplay featuring Marshmello collab (Seriously) Biggest “love on first listen”: Life in a Day (Plastic Beach vibes) Biggest “why on earth would you not release this?”: Tomorrow Biggest “back in love with Coldplay moment”: Won’t somebody love me when I’m broken Anyway, let’s hope they release some of this stuff someday. PS. How awesome that we got to hear FOP and Spanish Rain after all those years.

Oh... that's a deep cut. Those Viva's demos were so good. Hopefully we'll get "Bloodless Revolution" one day. Too repetitive for me. Flawless production though.

Track 03 - Humankind | Music of the Spheres
The snippet of this song is definitely reminiscent of "Beyond" by Daft Punk, a truly masterpiece and my favourite track off that album. Hopefully this could be somewhat as epic. Fingers crossed.

Track 12 - Coloratura | Music of the Spheres
Wow. Amazing song. Not at all what I was expecting. Heavy TDSOTM vibes thoughout as I'm sure someone else mentioned. That gorgeous guitar riff is also reminiscent of MTM. Glad to hear some remnants of the MX era in 2021. All in all another triumph by our boys.

New music, new perspectives. I don't have a strong opinion on it yet but I think this new era could be a more stripped back version of "Mylo Xyloto". To all of you who feel skeptical on this new sound just imagine if 'Birds" was released as the first single off LP7. That would have been weird.

It's happening! We've come a long way since that mysterious running man. What a time to be alive.- When I Need A Friend - Sunrise
Hi everyone. Hope all of you are doing well. Just came by to once again praise this absolute grandiose piece of music. Maybe I have gone mad but everytime I hear this song my mind goes to so many places. Good places. Anyway just wanted to say that. So fucking amazing. Take care.- I am currently listening to....
Hellogoodbye - Summer of the Lily Pond- Avicii - Lethal Drug (featuring Chris Martin)
My guess is this song was supposed to be included in Avicii's 2019 posthumous album "TIM" (which I actually like a lot) but didn't make the cut. I remember that in a interview back in 2010, Chris said that they were writing a lot of songs in preparation for getting old (something about writing music up to the age of 33) so maybe it makes sense that there's plenty of leftover material from that era.- LP8 Thread - Everyday Life
The lyrics to "Church" and "Trouble In Town" are now available at Coldplay's website along with the other ones that were up already (Arabesque, Orphans and Everyday Life).- War of the Coldplay Songs
Twisted Logic vs I Ran Away- Flags - Sunset - Bonus track (Japan exclusive)
I wonder if the verse in this song that talks about the "Holy Roman Army" is in reference to the catholic church. These lyrics are so reminiscent of the VLV era.- When I Need A Friend - Sunrise
Here's the story behind the man that speaks at the end of this song. His name was Agustin Lopez Pacheco and was featured in a short documentary film back in 2012 about his dream of building a helicopter at his home in a small town in Honduras. He was a very religious man but at the same time he was sadled with disabilty from an early age as he was born with polio. Unfortunately he passed away some time ago but his story lives on in the way of this short film. If you don't like the sample with his voice maybe watch the video. I feel like I understand why Chris wanted to include it in the record as a way of saying that maybe everything around us is great and everything is terrible so we get to take in the best things and go on. After all that's everyday life.- LP8 Thread - Everyday Life
That's interesting. I wonder if "Wedding Bells" has a studio version. I guess they kind of recycled that one (Christmas Lights) but I would think they were far into the recording sessions if they had multiple songs to go in that project. Unfortunately, we may never find out.- Favorite Tracks Game
Parachutes: Shiver A Rush of Blood to the Head: Clocks X&Y: Talk Viva la Vida: Violet Hill Mylo Xyloto: Us Against The World Ghost Stories: Fly On A Head Full of Dreams: Birds Everyday Life: Champion of the World- Viva La Vida vs. Everyday Life
I forgot to include my survey: Life In Technicolor vs. Sunrise Cemeteries Of London vs. Church Lost! vs. BrokEn 42 vs. Trouble In Town Lovers In Japan vs. Daddy Reign Of Love vs. WOTW/POTP Yes vs. Arabesque Chinesse Sleep Chant vs. When I Need A Friend Viva La Vida vs. Orphans Violet Hill vs. Guns Strawberry Swing vs. Èkó/Cry Cry Cry/Old Friends Death And All His Friends vs. Champion Of The World The Escapist vs. Everyday Life Viva La Vida - 7 Everyday Life - 6 Long live the king (Pun intended) :D.- Flags - Sunset - Bonus track (Japan exclusive)
Wow. This song has grown on me so much. It might end up in my top 5 songs off the album. The lyrics are so powerful, beautiful and carry a great message. It's crazy how the band's B-sides over the years end up being some of their best songs.- Church - Sunrise
- Viva La Vida vs. Everyday Life
Hi everyone! So Viva La Vida is and will always be my favorite album by the band and after hearing this record I could not stop thinking how much listening to this new music made me feel reminiscent of the wonder and excitement of the VLV era. I know there are many diferences between this two records and that many of the songs do not compare well against each other but I wanted to try anyway so I came up with this: Life In Technicolor vs. Everyday Life I would like to read what do you guys think. For me, Viva La Vida will always be my favorite because of what it meant to me at the time but now I have to admit that this new record it's coming surprisingly close. - 🪐 Coldplay: Music of the Spheres 🪐 | Out Now! | Discussion
