  1. You got a point that made me ponder. I guess I need to start being more respectful to other people's music taste because If we are obejective, coldplay is also one of the most hated bands out there.
  2. Eventhough they post-poned tha LA tour, I think they won't do gigs for a long time; therefore, they will have time to work on LP6; therefore, we might have a release next year sooner than we think :cool3:
  3. When you hear a coldplay song at a random moment like in a tv show, movie, radio, or at the mall and you get all crazy :bliss: or when you check for coldplay news everyday
  4. oh men, has anyone noticed this? I mean, it's cool when people start liking coldplay, but when I see people that like justin bieber, one direction, katy perry and coldplay at the same time, I shudder. :wreck:
  5. Yeah I was biased. I'm a Oasis fan. I have a feeling they won't have any collabs on the next album though.
  6. As for the performance. Yeah he looked nervous the first seconds, but after that he performed fine. I enjoyed this acoustic version of Viva La Vida better than other piano versions he has perfomed. This is just my opinion though. I think Chris Martin killed it with UATW, and of course that Michael Stipe duet was great. My only complaint? It was only 10 minutes.
  7. Ok, I respect your opinion about the performance, but I don't find anything wrong with the suit. What?...Did you wanted chris to unbotton his shirt and show his chest, or wear a leather skirt? or dropping F-bombs on national tv? that surely is more appropiate for a charity concert, right?
  8. Who became a fan in this MX era?
  9. I agree in some of your points. I think the Grammy's help artists by giving them promotion, but the fact that they don't have justin bieber, one direction, psy, etc is great evidence that they don't focus in popularity. I just think they are biased towards some artists. BTW, what do you mean MX did poorly outside the UK? Yes, they didn't do that well in the U.S but in Latin America they did amazing even songs like Charlie Brown or Princess of China topped the radios. The same for Europe. Paradise was a huge hit in most countries. Look at this chart and see the best selling albums of the year: http://hallyu8.com/topic/29069-apparently-these-are-the-best-selling-albums-in-the-world-this-year/ But anyways, I'll like to add that I'm happy for the success of MX and the grammy's nominations, but I think other artists deserve it more this year. I'll be extremely happy if they win a grammy though :D
  10. It was decent, but nine? seriously?
  11. I hope Coldplay gets at least one (I doubt it), but if How To Desmantle an Atomic Bomb got nine grammy's, then I don't see why not.
  12. Compare Muse's sales to Coldplay's, and they will seem like an indie band. Poor sales for the 2nd law (IMO a great album).
  13. noel gallagher on the album? ...That would be awsome!
  14. If they win for rock performance, I won't be surprised. I'll be shocked if MX gets an award. El Camino deserves it.
  15. 9/10 Probably one of the best coldplay has done. I don't mind the auto-tune. I even think it makes the song more alluring. It's not like t-pain auto-tune or something. Lyrically, it's a mysterious song. "They gone eye watching you/ One eye on what you do/So be careful who it is you're talking to"; this is one of my favorite lines.
  16. Opener: Life In Technicolour...and it gets better with the "cemeteries of london" intro Closer: Up With The Birds. I was going to say Twisted Logic, but then I remembered X&Y has a hidden track. I don't like hidden tracks sometimes.
  17. 1) Strawberry Swing 2) Lost! 3) Viva La Vida 4) Rainy Day 5) Violet Hill
  18. Parachutes: We Never Change AROBTH: None, are you guys serious? all the songs are awsome! X&Y: What If, Swallowed In The Sea Viva La Vida: None!! A flawless album IMO Mylo Xyloto: Up In Flames, Us Against The World, U.F.O
  19. There's not a limit of using synths and electronic sounds. They can make whatever they want as long as the material is good; that's what I expect for LP6, good songs. The electronic sound is just a whim I have.
  20. POC will probably get a nomination, but not in the rock category Mylo Xyloto? hmmm I don't think so Maybe Charlie Brown for rock song:shrug:
  21. I know many won't agree with me, but I really wish they could make an electronic album, or something similar to "Don't Let It Break Your Heart". I wish they keep reinventing themselves. MX's songs feel rushed but as much as people hated it, the sound is the best of this album. I'm hoping there's more electronic on their next album in an authentic way like the grimes or M83. I also think they have potential. Seriously, that paradise beat is exquisite like RnB or dubstep idk, but it was breathtaking.
  22. Is the song played during the movie, or was it only used for the trailer?
  23. Yeah, but to be honest nobody knows. What if they have a lot of progress from the new album already?
  24. I've never cried hearing music, but when I heard Fix You back in Mexico I almost did. That song used to put me in a melancholic mood. On my first listen of the album Us Against the World and Up With The Birds gave me chills.
