Welcome to Coldplaying! Could you please tell us a little more? Were there actors? What did the set look like? Was the band playing?

It's great for Coldplay. But this radio event has been around since 1999 and with the years I think it has lost it's credibility. I mean "I Gotta Feeling" is at #188 (above, for example, "Strawberry Fiels Forever" at #271). Though, the TV show that goes with it still has great "mini-documentary's".

Maybe they didn't do the interview... They also didn't do a soundcheck (because of the interview they said). But I think recording the video for Serious Request and making sure they could give away 4 meet & greet tickets might have cost more time than they thought it would...

I'll try to translate the part about the songs that didn't make the album: Songs like Paradise and Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall ended on the album, but a lot of material didn't make the cut. "Many songs didn't make the album, mostly because they weren't good enough", admits Champion. "Others didn't fit in, but they were good on theirselfs. I don't know what we're going to do with them." The idea to make an EP was brought up, like Coldplay's Prospekt's March from 2008. "Coincidentally we were just talking about that", says Berryman about a conversation he had a couple of minutes ago with singer Chris Martin. "If a song's good, it's a shame not to use it. We want to release them one way or another." Rest of the interview is about making the album, their life on the road and being the biggest band on the planet. Not really spectacular enough to go and translate since I probably fucked up a few sentences in the part I just did translate.

Wow that's actually a pretty good interview, shame I didn't see on nu.nl before. It's great that they got Guy and Will, we've seen enough interview with Chris and they always have to ask him about Gwyneth and stuff. I'm not sure if they're gonna release an EP. Since Guy didn't really say yes to that I suspect they might just put them out on the internet or as a LRLRL-like disc at the concerts or in another way... Or he just wasn't sure yet, haha.
