Very well thought out. It would be nice if Chris's lyrics were actually clever or thought-provoking for once. I mean. I don't want to sound harsh but I've never been too much a fan of Coldplay lyrics.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. Just give us the best MUSIC.

No not dubstep, ew (see Muse's 2nd Law) But seriously, a more electronic route would be welcomed by me. Think Phoenix, Passion Pit, hell even Gorillaz.

Its really a testament to how strong the album is where even after literally hundreds of listens, its still great.

Don't get me wrong it's still great. I like it more than The Suburbs, in fact.

The general consensus is that it's not their best album. I still LOVE it though.

:nod: I think it would do soooooo much good for them if they just dialed it back a bit in the producing phase.

They'll get the album out just in time for the summer festivals. I expect the lead single by March. Album release, May.

The synth is just so catchy and those brash, low notes that pop every couple of seconds is just so brilliant considering the subject matter of the song.

I remember when I first heard that live version of PoC. It got me so freakin hyped. It just seemed so much better then than what it turned out to be. :\

Coldplay needs to rekindle the magic I felt when I first heard VLV or Clocks. If LP6 doesn't wow me, Coldplay might start to occupy less and less of my brain.

Wouldn't most bands be a bit more reserved when presenting new music? I feel like that's how it is for most bands.

So I was bored today. While sitting in class I made a top 10 favorite albums of all time list in my head. And I realized, Wow, VLVODAAHF is such a fucking great album. I mean, there's not a single bad song on that entire album.

I haven't gotten that vibe. The problem is she never gets to be in the forefront on Reflektor.

Fair enough. Reflektor, ironically, is the album where Arcade Fire takes themselves the least seriously. imo

The problem is, they are designed to be anthems. The goal should be to make good music, not good sing-alongs.

Don't Arcade Fire always try really hard?
