  1. All Your Friends is fantastic.
  2. I have Ghost Story after AIMH, and I have All My Friends after AA. With O Part 2 smack-dab in the middle. Always In Head Ghost Story Magic Ink True Love Midnight O (Reprise) Another's Arms All My Friends Oceans A Sky Full of Stars O I think it works well. Thoughts?
  3. Round 1: MX/Hurts like heaven vs. Always in my head **I cannot decide. They're both phenomenal tracks. Equally obsessed with both** Round 2: Paradise vs. Magic Round 3: Charlie Brown vs. Ink Round 4 Us against the world vs True Love Round 5: MMIX/ETIAW Vs. Midnight Round 6: Major minus vs. Another's arms Round 7: Up in flames vs Oceans Round 8: A hopeful transmission/Don't let it break your heart vs. ASFOS Round 9: Up with the birds vs. O MX 1.5 GS 7.5 Ghost Stories completely trumps MX. MX was kind of a mess tbh. Still love both albums though.
  4. google them and close off the phrase with quotation marks ----------> "__________" then advance search and set it to past 24 hours
  5. ^ That's right. The electronic drums carried over for sure.
  6. Hmmmm, yes! That makes total sense.
  7. dude, wat r u doing.
  8. Best production was on AA in my opinion. Really elevated that song.
  9. Always In My Head is hands down one of the best songs they've ever made. For this song alone, I am completely satisfied. But there are other brilliant songs on this album-- Midnight and O stick out the most to me.
  10. somewhere between 6.0 to 7.0, I'm sure.
  11. I mean VIVA trumps Ghost Stories in almost every way, but these two albums are going for completely different things. I feel GS and Parachutes is a much more apt comparison.
  12. Same here. I was definitely getting X&Y era vibes from the vocal.
  13. Honestly I feel some people are let down because we already heard 77% of the album before release. All I have to tell the fans is, don't worry that you didn't feel anything special on first listen. It often doesn't work that way. Take a break from coldplaying. Get some work done. Talk to your friends. Come back later when your ready to fall asleep and listen to it one more time. Let the music rock you to sleep.
  14. I really enjoy the electronic beats throughout the album. They're swift and slick. I'm very satisfied with how this album turned out. It's not quite as brilliant as Viva, but I honestly believe that was the peak of their recording careers anyway. The important thing is, they didn't strain themselves to reach for something they couldn't achieve. They were true to themselves, and I know many Coldplay fans have been begging them to do this for years.
  15. 1. Always In My Head -- 10 2. Magic -- 8 3. Ink -- 8 4. True Love -- 9 5. Midnight -- 10 6. Another's Arms -- 8.5 7. Oceans -- 9 8. A Sky Full of Stars -- 6 9. O -- 10 And as for how it falls amongst the albums... VIVA > AROBTTH > Ghost Stories > Parachutes > MX > X&Y
  16. Yes! You read my mind. I've never connected so deeply with a Coldplay song before.
  17. If someone could pm me a link that would be great
  18. So apparently this song and Ink are the big singles.
  19. It really is, isn't it? :) Me neither. :bomb:
  20. aschall replied to Telepian's topic in Coldplay
It's a brilliant song. Obviously, its not a classic. It just came out. This is the most intriguing Coldplay song since the Viva era in my opinion.
  21. "It's a grower," as the kids say nowadays. I love the music/ hate the lyrics. 7/10
  22. I'm really excited to hear Always In My Head. Don't know why though!!!
