  1. I've been here for a while and I can't understand some people behavior. I just heard a little bit of the cover and it sounds good. Of course I prefer Chirs singing Fix You, and that song means a lot to me, but come on....it is just a song P.S. For those who agree with Tom Yorke....He did appear in a Twilight soundtrack...
  2. Hi coldplayers, this summer I was in London on holidays and discovered something new in Notting Hill. There was a guy playing the guitar and I stopped to listen to his music. I can't describe how it sounded, but I felt in love with the music immediately. Here you have their website and myspace: http://www.robbie-boyd.com/ , http://www.myspace.com/robbieboydmusic/music Hope you enjoy the music :)
  3. Nothing matters Except life and the love you make
  4. Great interview. I like how he speaks about the band doing what they want to do in music and not feeling ashamed of showing to the world what they like or who they are. Great musicians, better persons.
  5. rousi replied to Tryptophan's topic in Coldplay
I think I feel the opposite of what Tryptophan feels. I'm following Coldplay since Viva la Vida, though it wasn't Viva the first song I heard from that album, it was Violet Hill and I felt in love with the song and with the band. Of course I've heard of coldplay before Viva, but I don't know why I didn't pay much attention to them. My point is, if they hadn't tried to be (let's say) mainstream, maybe a lot of people have never payed attention to their music, but thank God they went mainstream. The discovering of Viva helped me to discover the beautifulness of What If, Fix You, See you soon, Shiver, Yellow and so on...so I'm sure that a lot of people discovered these songs in the same way. I think they do the music they want in every album, except in the case of X&Y, and we have to think that between every album there is a considerable space of time in which they as human beings change, as we do, because we all change and change our perspective of the world that surrounds us. So, if you are not the same person you can't do the same music. In my opinion this album reflects how they feel right now, we live in a dark world full of hate and they are trying to express that (the graffiti thing shows us they feel revels at their thirties, the colours try to bring happiness), and knowing they are happy and proud of what they are doing makes me feel happy. Maybe people should try to understand them not only as musicians but as persons. And I think one never should be ashamed of what he likes, because it is who you are and people who respect you would do it no matter what your preferences are. I think that this is one of my favourite things I like of Coldplay they are proud of themselves as individuals.
  6. Well, after listening to the song several times I can say that I like it. Of course it's not Fix You, or The scientist, or GPASUUF but I have the feeling, as I have seen with other great musicians, their music has become ethereal. The music and lyrics are more conceptual and conceptual is not always well received. It seems to me a brave move on their part because staying with the essence of the things makes you bigger. I think they want the music to be the message, not the lyrics. Nevertheless, I think we have to wait until the album comes out to rate it.
  7. Thanks! Good luck to you too!!!
  8. Today my favourite song is See you soon, because today I've met again my first, and summer love after a lot of years, and he told me hope to see you soon. My best friend was there to tell me that before meeting him he saw me and tried to say hello but I didn't see him. Even though there is no story today we've had a story before and today I've came back to my fifteen's :)

  19. Totally agree!! I thought that maybe they would play again Princess of China, because of the venue, but I supose they haven't much time to change the setlist as they are finishing the album. Anyways, thanks to iTunes for streaming it, I've could watch it with good quality. Oh, and thanks Chris have mentioned the people that couldn't make it to the gig.
  20. Does that mean that the tickets' winners have been anounced?
  21. Then if you are right the winners for the coldplay.com contest "25 pairs of tickets" haven't been announced still, right? Because they said that the winners would be comunicated by email, but they didn't say anything about the no winners :( Thank you for the info :) I was lucky enough, I won a ticket to saw them at BBK Live a week and a half ago :)
  22. But do someone know if the tickets' winners have been announced?
  23. Violet Hill and Fix You to sing the lyrics, but I love to hum clocks or In My Place :)
