I think wanting to top the charts is a major impediment in creating good music. Music should come as a result of spontainety, not constraint. This thing about being the best band in the world really gets to me. I mean, I have nothing against it, I'd love to think about Coldplay that way, but it seems like they don't quite understand what it means to be the best and how to reach that point. It's just my humble opinion, anyway.

Anyone into GoT atm? I have just finished watching the second season and am pleased to say the show met almost all of my expectations. The only thing that I didn't quite like were some alterations to the book such as (SPOILER!!!) Sansa being sort of friends with Shae, Rob Stark marrying a certain Talissa instead of Jeyne Westerling, Xaro Xhoan Something being responsible for the kidnapping of khaleesi's dragons and subsequently locked in a pitch black chamber together with one of khaleesi's maids, king Renley's gay adventures...these were brilliantly executed, but I don't remember them happening that way in the book. I have no doubt the next season will keep up the good work! As for the books, I have had plans to read AFFC this summer but it never happened. My next college term is to start soon and who knows whether I'll have the time to read any of it before next summer.

Say they make LP6 an amazing album everyone will be pleased with- the band, critics, the fans...the only way to see if they can top it would be to try to make another one, so I don't think they'll stop for that reason.

An old mansion placed on a hill, with a beautiful garden, surrounded by abundant verdure to keep the place secured from the eyes of the neighbors. I'm a sucker for romantic rustic houses, and I abhor modern-looking ones. I could never live in a skyscraper!
