I was thinking on the bus today, "what if a the end of the song before ETIAW the begining notes were maybe being played in the background. Or maybe even the character from the album could be listening to I go to Rio in the backround on a radio and it would eentually morpth into ETIAW, if you know what I mean. The Who did that on Quadrophenia, I think it would be really cool. Probally won't happen but yeah.

in the 4 and and half minutes it took to listen to the song their were 10 new comments! I'm glad this is being so well received!!:D

The Friends of Paradise Thread I love Paradise, it's absolutly fantastic! Since alot of the threads are negitive I just wanted to make a thread where we who are fans of the song can talk to each other about the song, with out getting into fights with others. If you don't like the song, don't post here, there are enough posts with people who don't like it. THIS IS FOR FANS OF THE SONG ONLY!! DON'T START FIGHTS!! :flutterby:

It's from a nursery rhyme I believe. That's my favorite lyric in the whole song. Plus it ties in well with the Oasis song falling down (another of my favorite bands), which references the rhyme as well. I think it hassomething to do with losing hope or something.

As anyone can see, there's alot of hate going on of this forum, and I know I'm one of amny who is sick of it, so I have a proposition, and I might get banned for it.:shocked2: I want anyone, anyone who is sick of all this fighting to post a happy, peacful thread. Don't reply to this one, just make more. You don't even need to write anything, just post a picture if you want. I'm ust sick about how one sided and angry this forum is becoming. I know it sounds really stupid, but I really want to see some happy Coldplay threads that us non-angry people can talk with each other on. We gotta even this forum out. I hope for support. Agreed I own all their stuff and I love being suprised by the new and different things they do. I love how they keep changing, and I think people on this forum should stop fighting. If you don't like their new style stop visiting the forum. I personally love all their music, but for fans of only their older stuff, I think you owe Coldplay your respect. Sure, some of their newer stuff is way different from Parachutes, but songs like Us Against the World could have easily fit on that album. Coldplay care for their fans and I think the least you could do is give them the respect they diserve, wheter or not you will buy their new album.

I love how their is at least 1 postive thread on here. This will be my haven for the next month!:) I love all the new songs. As for Princess of China, I personally don't like Rihanna's voice and thing she is a bad influence on kids, but I trust Coldplay with this. They are great musicians and know what they are doing. I wish people would give them a chance. For all I know I may be pleasently suprised by Princess of China.:)

I'm not gonna lie, I hate Rihanna's voice. I also hate how she tries to create a really sexual image. To me her image seems very low class. Sure, it may be just an image and not her real mannerisms but I think she sets a horrible example. I'm not going to judge though, I trust Coldplay with this. They are brillian musicians and I'm sure they know what they're doing. I'm sure I'll end up being pleasently suprised.

Dude, honestly that's just you opinion. I don't mean to sound rude, so please don't take this the wrong way. I am one of many who think that album is one of the greatest ever made. You don't have to think that, that's okay, but the fact that you have already posted like 5 posts on how much you don't like it is getting annoying. Sorry, but I think it is their strongest writing, and I think that opinion should be valid as well. To me your sounding like your stating facts or something, and there opinions. Again, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't take this the wrong way, I HATE QUABBLES!! I'm just trying to stop this before this thread, which should be happy, turns into a battlefield.
