Coldplay just tweeted that Charlie Brown is their new single.

Just saw that too, they should have made a bigger deal of it on the show. Hopefully we'll get news about a physical copy/itunes download soon.

Anyone else find it weird that Hurts like Heaven isn't written on the setlist, just Mylo Xyloto?

I'm debating between going to this show or the one in Montreal. I'm in Toronto right now for school, but I'll be back home in Ottawa for the summer. Guess I'll have to see what the seating plans/ticket prices are like and then decide.

I'm hoping they play Bluesfest in Ottawa which is from July 4th to July 15th, right when they have a gap in their schedule. They announce Bluesfest bands in April so that would explain why there's still a gap.

I had a dream that I met Chris Martin backstage and he started playing some new songs from an EP he said they were about to release. I woke up half way through Car Kids, it was pretty good!

The Hardest Part

I was thinking the same thing, I can't think of a specific song it sounds like but the first time I heard it I thought of the Killers.

Only part I don't like is the "Can we pour some water on" at the end, the vocal sounds terrible. Rest of the song was great.

"The birds, they sang at break of day/Start again, I hear them say" are lyrics from Leonard Cohen's song Anthem; I'm curious if he contributed anything else to the song or if that's the only reason why he's listed as a writer.

I'm watching the concert again and I recognize all of the people described here :) I'm the guy with glasses in the blue jacket, I was only on camera for a few seconds though. BTW, I noticed they've shuffled the setlist for the re-aired version of the concert. :thinking:

I heard a few people talking about coldplaying at the concert, so I decided to join the forum! I was standing in the front row near the left side of the stage. I've been watching the online streamed concerts all summer and it was amazing to see all the new songs live.
