Re-listening to Alien Hits/Alien Radio, and you totally hear pieces of Man in the Moon at 2:30. Short snippets of the “ahhhs” and the whistle/guitar melody. Cool detailing, and pretty much confirms that pieces of all 7 songs from the notebook are you in there!

Love the Rolling Stone review, but it does confuse me about where the Tik Tok Vegas song fits. Doesn’t seem like it’s in the title track or AH/AR by their descriptions…

Now knowing We Pray is Track 3, I’m wondering if Jupiter has been removed. So odd it was initially speculated as the first single with the leaks but we’ve heard nothing since? It’s possible it’s just a shuffled tracklist but since they apparently added Aeterna late I guess anything could happen

Speed of Sound vs. Champion of the World

The whole song feels very Major Minus to me! I think the heavy vocal FX will be in the release too, just not as present as they were in the live version.

Interesting - you see the song "Tomorrow" on this list. You can also find it in the recent interview Coldplay did. There's a point where the interviewer is asking about how the band writes their music, and it pans to an apparently older list of songs for "Ghost Stories" that includes Atlas, Ghost Story, and TOMORROW. Clearly they've been working on this song for awhile. Think it'll show up on LP7?

From what I remember, the song did have a slower, more synthesized beat. I can totally hear the Atlas-like comparison. It's weird, but Johnny's opening guitar almost had a banjo-like quality to it. It was really REALLY cool. Very laidback but also completely different from any other song I've heard from the album.

They played it at beacon It's beautiful. Like ASFOS they asked not to record it. But it's gorgeous and brooding.

There's a part of me that thinks that ETIAW and MM WILL at least be mixed differently. Paradise sounds richer and more clean than the other two, and I feel like they would want the tracks to all sound the same.

Is it just me, or did they add some more... something to Charlie Brown. I noticed it when they performed it on Jimmy Kimmel, and then when I heard their Lollapalooza performance, the song just sounded fuller. Especially during Johnny's hook. It sounds like they added a keyboard or synth sound (sort of like Lovers in Japan?). Anyone else notice that? I LOVE it.
