I know what you mean, I don't really count it either, but Wikipedia says it is

Except The Fall, that was nine months later! I think it's a really good timespan they've got going on. Just long enough that they're still relevant, not too long that no one cares. They always reinvent the wheel, but it always feels like Gorillaz. One of the only modern bands you can actually class as exciting.

What's so bad about Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall?
The key word used is "only". If you only like Parachutes, don't bother moaning about MX, because it's obviously not gonna be your cuppa tea. If you simply prefer Parachutes, then go ahead. It's a mix up, let's not fall out, we have one thing in common, this beautiful band.

He's unofficially retired, but it would be immense to see him with Gorillaz. Paul McCartney would be good too; he's someone who's expressed interest in working with them. We still haven't heard the Horrors collaboration. Or the Asha Bhosle song. And both Lupe Fiasco and Pharrell were linked with Gorillaz at one point. Personally, the one name I would like to see with them is Noel Gallagher. We need another Gorillaz album one day.

I showed my mum (massive Bowie fan) and she said "Damon really looks unhappy." I guess he does, having watched it again. Could you imagine Gorillaz ft. Bowie?

This this this this this. Compiling a Radiohead "Best of" is like cutting out facial features from the Mona Lisa and gluing them on The Scream.

Vocally, no. But if you want an Albarn moment, listen to Poison. Something else I'd recommend to any Albarn fans who haven't seen before is Bananaz. Watched the other day, great film, minus Damon being sick and sitting on the loo. And Jamie is so Murdoc, it's unreal.

I think it's okay, but I appreciate more from the rhythm section than I do Damon.

I think the wonderful thing about vinyl as well is that it makes it a big event to listen to an album. It's like putting on the tele, or watching something at the theatre. With your iPod, there are so many distractions actually on the iPod itself. You can put a Radiohead vinyl on (let's keep it 'Head-related), and listen to the thing start to finish, no interruption. Just as what was intended. That's a beautiful thing, it's a tradition. Nowadays, people can buy the work of an artist at the click of a button, and something about that saddens me, to be honest.

Vinyls are two times more expensive and won't fit on your iPod. If I really love the band, I'll buy the album on vinyl straight when it comes out, but I collect vinyls of my favourite past albums. I'm also jobless, but money is spent as follows: Music Food Girlfriend

I believe that you should download to get into a band, and buy the CD if you like it. But it's nicer to have a CD, especially when bands such as Radiohead put so much effort into artwork.

Started with downloading No Surprises, Karma Police, Just and Creep illegally. Now own every album on CD and two on vinyl. Don't let anyone tell you illegal downloading is a terrible thing.

It was during Tender at the Brits. Thought, I'm having that for my Facebook cover photo. At one point, I had my profile picture as a Best of Blur mock-up. I did one of the Arctic Monkeys for my sister's Tumblr. (Unrelated I know. Sorry!)

Don't feel bad. I doubt many people name it as their favourite.

Jethro Tull
Phoebe: It's, yes, my little black book. It's got the numbers of all the guys I've dated. ... Rachel: Phoebe, isn't Jethro Tull a band? Phoebe: (proud of herself) Oh yes, they are.

They've all got different lives now, but surely... just a few recorded tracks shouldn't be that much of a big effort? And if there's anyone who can chuck a fantastic album together amidst a heavy schedule... It's Damon Albarn.- The Damon Albarn thread.
That's interesting actually... Knowing that excites me. ...In Damon I trust, I wish I had the patience :(- The Damon Albarn thread.
Well he's either doing it because he wants everyone to believe nothing he says, or he's just being totally honest and they actually do have no idea what's going on. If it's the first one, he can't keep messing us around and then give us no material, that's just mean. If it's the second one... well they've been under the impression at least once that there will be a new record, that doesn't just come from one song, surely? My bet is that there are a few bits and pieces of songs here and there. And they are working on something new, but it's taking a long time to figure out.- The Damon Albarn thread.
Damon: I never close the book on a project. Graham: There will definitely be a new album. Alex: There will definitely be no new album. Damon: Don't count on a new album. Graham: There will probably be a new album. Damon: Maybe we'll release EPs. Alex: We still meet up and play music. Orbit: I am working in the studio with Damon and Graham. Damon: We came up with a song about Notting Hill carnival, but it's not relevant anymore. Dave: We're working on something. Damon: Under The Westway could spell the end of Blur. Your guess, my friend, is as good as mine.- The Damon Albarn thread.
http://www.nme.com/news/blur--2/62830 He then went on to say that he feels it might be the last song he ever writes for Blur, adding: "I don’t really do anything with Blur any more - there’s this concert this year but its not a full time thing at all. Maybe this tune's a last little coda to the whole story." ...- PoC video

I'm not particularly into it. But then, I only like a couple off The Bends. - The Damon Albarn thread.
