The Songs From the Great White North EP is truly beautiful. Who else got it?
  3. I saw both the Pumped Up Kicks single and Ruby/Broken Jaw in my record shop today when buying vinyls. Wish I'd got them :( My sister's been on at me for ages to listen to FtP's album. I thought "Nah, one hit wonder", but last week I put it on, and I'm hooked. Easily my favourite band for a while. I want to be in the band, they're just so upbeat.

You can go on about Coldplay not being similar to anyone, and they're gonna have similarities and differences with any band, but the parallels between themselves and Radiohead are above for you to see. I'm not saying they're the same. I'm saying what's written. Both went epic on LP3, both had a reinvention LP4. Kanye West did the same, doesn't mean he's anything like either of them, does it?

  6. Is it too early to talk of perfect setlists?
  7. So much better than the original. Don't get me wrong, I'm a massive Kasabian fan - I queued from 3am for tickets for them once - just this isn't a proper Kasabian song, is it? Lana does it better.
  8. ...:O You. Are. A. Life. Saver. <3
  9. It's gone up to over £400. Piss take.
  10. Not insane, that's just sheer dedication, ha. Just I have no job; I'm a student.
  11. Only just realised that the vinyls are separate, and I am gutted beyond words, because now, I'm going to be paying twice as much. Hmph.
  12. Because it's called 21. And they'd be dopey if they mixed the two. It was funnier in my head.
  13. No mention from what I can find. I'm just hoping some dopey Adele fans buy it.
  14. Ah wow, I'd do the same if I had friends.
  15. £157.
  16. In the UK, you're only allowed to buy one of each vinyl. I don't know if that's the same abroad...
  17. Yeah but no one's mentioned it on the MX forum... Weird.
  18. Vinyls are worth about £15 each. CDs are a tenner, but these have added discs, so judging by the Radiohead re-releases, they should be priced at £20-25. The book, if you bought it by itself, would be worth at least £20 judging by Muse's recent tourbook, £30 if you consider it documents an entire history. But let's say £20, to be fair to them. £8 for a DVD is fair, I'd say. There are three of these. A 7inch single is £5, but this is a rare collectable. Still, let's say £5. And four discs of rarities would be at least £10 each, surely. All in all (7x15)+(7x20)+20+(3x8)+5+(4x10)= 105+140+20+24+5+40= £334. = It's a steal :D

  21. I wouldn't see it, I'd die. Heart attack from excitement.
  22. "To celebrate the release of Leisure 21 years ago, we've announced that we'll be touring the world, releasing a new album, and never. Splitting. Up. Gorillaz will continue as normal, Graham will carry on being utterly fantastic, Dave will represent you in court if you have an accident at work, and Alex will stop hanging around with those pricks Clarkson and Cameron." And then I woke up.
  23. MX Live DVD So, there's nothing about a live dvd on this part of the forum.. I might have been looking in the wrong place, but as it's MX-related, last time we got a live DVD, we got Moses, could we get one, maybe two new songs on this? Maybe a b-side like Moving to Mars?
  24. The cover and the artwork? Come on man, that's vintage, right there! Hopefully will own this, R U Mine and Songs From The Great White North by Saturday afternoon <3
  25. Same old same old. I give up on them.
