  1. Chris has explained the meaning of Xyloto (feeling music in your toes) but he never talks about the Mylo part. I was just helping my 7th grader with an Ancient Greek homework last night and found out the meaning of Mylo though pronounced meeloh in Greek. I have a hard time believing that Chris chose Mylo not knowing that it actually means Apple in Greek. So Mylo Xyloto means Apple's Musical Toes?
  2. Found A Message Hope For Haiti clip. Yes it's a bit faster, lyrics change, Will playing guitar and singing as well. All is good in this Coldplay fanland.:D
  3. Clip please! I've been stuck on A Message for days now. I just can't get enough of it.
  4. "Iron Man 3" Details Revealed Posted: March 26th, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff Marvel Studios will begin shooting the third "Iron Man" movie on May 21st in Wilmington, North Carolina. According to the studio, Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle will all reprise their roles. While details about what the new movie will be about are slim, the storyline is described by director Shane Black (Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang) as being a Tom Clancy thriller, with Iron Man fighting real world villains. The plan is to go back to self-contained, single-character stories. Black stated: "The studio wasn't happy with the result of 'Iron Man 2,' as a result that pretty much came about due to a rushed production schedule in an attempt to hit a release date rather than simply make a good film. 'Iron Man 3' will not be another, 'two men in iron suits fighting each other.'" Read more: http://www.worstpreviews.com/headline.php?id=24385&count=0#ixzz1qCmtiXvN
  5. Shall we give it a last push? Is the deadline at midnight US Eastern Standard time again? It's just the idea of humans competing with bots that leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.
  6. Totally excited. I'm not going to criticize what I haven't seen yet. I'm hoping it is a great video.
  7. The leg looks toned and sexier, better than that of Angelina Jolie:laugh3:
  8. Who the hell chooses "the sexiest man alive" and why hasn't this man been chosen yet? Do you have to be an actor?
  9. Fangirls can be very funny sometime. I understand the concern but take comfort in that Gwyneth is sitting at home in London with the kids, knowing that Chris is going to come out of the playboy mansion unscathed. I know the concept of a playboy mansion and Mr. Hefner is unsettling, but I have a feeling that people use it as a place of business nowadays, just to meet with others in their profession. I've read of many respectable, married and unmarried people visiting that mansion. I wish he hadn't gone there, but really it isn't a big deal.
  10. So much for a month off, Mr. Martin. Does he ever get tired?
  11. It could be for a number of reasons. We simply don't know right now.
  12. Thx for replying. I really never venture away from Coldplay and MM, so I was confused as to where to post the subject. The mirror and the Sun simply leave me sick to my stomach every time I follow a link. Thx again!
  13. This was on Monday. I won't post the article b/c it's full of speculation, all they have are the pictures. What did our girl get herself into? LOL
  14. What are the serious, facts based publications to read in the UK? Are there any? Every time I follow a link to The sun or The Mirror, I walk away very disappointed. Thx for your help.:)
  15. Rachael Ray, Gwyneth Paltrow dish about cookbook writing By Ann Oldenburg, USA TODAY Updated 4m ago By David E. Steele Gwyneth Paltrow had just put the kids to bed and was enjoying a glass of red wine when she Skyped in from London to Rachael Ray's kitchen on Wednesday for a segment to air on Friday's Rachael Ray show. The two wanted to team up to talk about the New York Times article "I Was a Cookbook Ghostwriter," which indicated both celebs used ghostwriters for their cookbooks. "You know, normally I don't respond to gossip or anything, but you know this is my professional life and I'm writing more cookbooks," Gwynnie told Rach. "And I feel like it's important for the people who have responded so positively and interacted with me about my book, that they know that this is my book and I wrote my book and it's all mine." Added Rachael Ray, "I so strongly agree, this is how I spend the little time at home I have with my family, I spend in front of these little notebooks, in front of the computer. It sort of takes away from all of that to not be able to call that writing, of course that's writing. It doesn't mean you don't value the people who write the glossary or that help organize the pantry or that work on a project, but a writer is still a writer." The Times says the article "does not merit correction." http://content.usatoday.com/communities/entertainment/post/2012/03/rachael-ray-gwyneth-paltrow-dish-about-cookbook-writing/1#.T2s2OPVfSQk
  16. It's a way for obscure bands to get their day in the sun but I doubt it will bring them more fans. I might have given the band my time if they played fair, but this isn't the way.
  17. This! I've already moved on. Coldplay will go back to playing sold out stadiums and arenas next month and elating tens of thousands of us fans all over the world. I'm not prepared to learn anything about some obscure band right now. Maybe 10 yrs from now if they're still in business I might google them.
  18. coldplaymom replied to midnight-radio's topic in Coldplay
Funny I was just listening to their interview in Canada where a reporter was asking the boys about the game and they had no idea what he was talking about. But no I've never played Tap Tap.
  19. I read that earlier and refused to post it. Gwynnie is actually 2 years older than Kate. Either it was a joke or more likely it didn't happen.
  20. It's an unfair fight b/c the other side is blatantly cheating. There's nothing we can do about it unfortunately. At least we tried, but we shouldn't stoop to their level.
  21. Dine With President Barack Obama, Gwyneth Paltrow, And Angela Bassett In S.F. For $35,800 Now here's an event where Chris will happily tug along, touring schedule permitting of course. http://sfist.com/2012/03/20/dine_with_president_barack_obama_gw.php
  22. Are we? If yes, we shouldn't. If we are, why aren't we competitive?
  23. ROFL I made a playlist of every single version there is of A Message. What a beautiful song!
  24. A message! You don't have to be alone.... I'm nothing on my own. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ASVI2jgMWU]coldplay - A message ( acoustic session ) - YouTube[/ame]
