The Secret Police gig wasn't a Coldplay audience, so the choice of songs was appropriate. I was disappointed they didn't play CB at the Grammys but lately I've come to see the band's reasoning. The MX tour has barely started and the album was released too late to be considered for Grammy nominations. So they'll play CB at Grammys 2013 when more people will be acquainted with it. There's no rush, everything is just fine. I don't give a crap about those who don't like the band. My own husband is into jazz and such and that's fine too. To each their own.

Oh yeah! I remember reading that blog (by a friend) a few months ago as well.

Christy Turlington and her husband Eddie Burns are very close friends with the Martins. In fact, they're part of the only handful that got mentioned in Gwyneth's cookbook along the Carters and the Spielbergs. And it's for a very good cause. I'm definitely ordering it.

Right now I can't remember. It's actually a video b/c I recall Chris answering the question, then turning to Jonny to ask him what kind of music Violet listens to. And b/c Jonny referred to Viva La Vida as our last album, it's a fairly recent interview. If I find it, I'll let you know, or perhaps someone else knows the interview I'm referring to.

Hmm I thought of that, but if he were just a passenger and not the driver, would he worry about being seen at the stop light? Anyway, when I heard him make that statement, the image that came to mind was Jonny behind the wheel. Don't ask me why b/c I don't know.

She did that with her friend Mario Batali a while back. I find Mario's cooking too indulgent though, Gwyneth's cookbook is much better.

Jonny drives, perhaps occasionally. He said in an interview that when he's in the car with his daughter Violet, she likes listening to Viva La Vida and he gets very embarrassed when he has to stop at the light b/c he thinks people might recognize him and laugh at him for listening to his own band's music.

:D It was my 1st Coldplay gig this last summer, stood the whole day in the sun with my kids, feet hurting like hell, but all that was forgotten 1x the boys hit the stage. The 90 so minutes felt like seconds, then they were gone. I can't wait to do it all over again in July.:D

I was there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Saw Chris up-close and personal. He's such a handsome dude and is still skinny. He appears way too big in pictures than he is in real life. 1 of REM was there ( I can't remember which one) but it wasn't Michael.
