"I got her number, rang her and asked if she wanted to meet. We went out at the weekend and we seem to get on. We met up as friends and nothing has happened. We had a good time, though. I don't know when we're going out again." Despite his insistence that he's "just the bloke from Coldplay", Gwyneth has confided to close friends that she finds the shy singer "inspiring". The actress, whose previous boyfriends include Ben Affleck and Brad Pitt, recently complained that British men didn't have the courage to ask her out. Now she's reportedly planning to settle in the UK and has bought a home in Belgravia. It looks to me he's already fallen hard for her in this picture.

Yesterday was a New Year's show to be broadcasted on New Year's Eve. Today is the live ACL Festival show.

hmmm They are live, just like at Lollapalooza.

The only gig following this dj thingy is Coldplay.

The stream is already on.

It looks like the dj is going to rock until Coldplay arrive.

It was the same for Lollapalooza, they showed up passed 9:30p. I'm going to start recording the stream at 9:10p just in case.

For those who might not know, ATL holds a special place in Coldplay's hearts. Chris has said that in 2001, they were performing in US festivals with these heavy metal bands. The metal heads didn't like Coldplay being so soft that they were abusing them, throwing objects at them on stage, booing them, etc. Chris really wanted the band to pack up and go back home, but their manager at the time convinced them to try 1 more gig at the Tabernacle in Atlanta. So they did and had the greatest experience. For that he says Atlanta will always be very special to them.

Since they have a couple of gigs before they get to ATL, I'm sure we'll know the new setlist. In fact, we should know tonight during the ACL streaming. Though I can see them work Till Kingdom Come in the ACL setlist and perhaps GA On My Mind in ATL.

I'm on that quest as well. Chris and Gwyneth eloped in California, no family nor friends were present. I have so much materiel to read. I'll share what I find out. But yes, one would think Chris would be Jonny's best man since those 2 are very close. In fact, I was just listening to a radio interview this morning where Jonny declared he and Chris have been making musical sex since they met in 1996. It was so cute.

I'm so going to force myself to like Paradise now. I'm sure it translates better when performed live.
