I think its probably supposed to be about death, but we had that with Viva La Vida at times. I think its been affected by the break up and that's why the lyrics feel more like a separation then death.

I would love to see some Viva La Vida B sides taking the stage. It isn't the MX era.

What was the story they told in MX in the Live DVD? I can't remember, been awhile since I watched it? Would that give us any clues as to what they will do for this one if it is a generic creation around the album story? Considering my posts since the album was announced have all been "WAH DVD". You can tell, this is good news for me. Some sort of DVD or LE was what I always wanted before I put my money down on anything. Though now I am hoping for a Bluray version. But they did do one for Coldplay Live so I guess they will for this.

Well I don't buy music unless it has value to me, like a live concert or a collectors edition. Otherwise I stream it on things like Xbox Music.

I hope they announce a collectors edition like MX with the CD and the vinyl and digital media and an art book.

First listen and like Midnight I feel a bit off listing to it, I can't place it. Not sure if I will warm up to it as much as Midnight. For me it feels like Up in Flames but Ghost Stories style.

I would imagine it is more Midnight style then Magic.

Oh awesome the forum is back, and Coldplay magic and ghost stories. Surprised about those names because they had been thrown around previously, were as the MX era was a suprise in terms of names. I hope there is a collectors editions this time around.

I agree, its pretty half assed. Surprised Avicii has done some acceptable stuff on his album, why can't he just get over the fact he isn't a full on rave party disco guy and does some pretty decent almost western techno influenced songs.

If the album is say May or June. I would expect promo stuff first half then second half of the year starting the tour.

I say track number wise it will be scaled down. Probably simular sizes of the older albums so approaching 10 regular tracks before anything hidden or remixed. Also I don't think there will be as many intro tracks, cause I hated them. Album Length: 40min I guess? Release date: First half of 2014 (most likely May). Music Direction: Atlas probably takes strong reference from their new style.

I don't think the album would sound like A Rush of Blood to the Head, well maybe in the sense of Atlas. So basically that older style feeling but really keeping the upbeat poppy nature which they started to develop. Plus to be honest I'd rather it sound more like Viva La Vida. But different straws.

I usually like untraditional instruments in covers, maybe Violin or something. Any of them like that, (as in using instruments not in the song and isn't a guitar---so cleshay).

Really well polished lyrics video, usually I dislike lyric videos.

I don't think its an amazingly strong song, in that it isn't a 10/10 or 9/10 like others have said, I'll probably put it 8/10, though atm I'm on a bige of listing to it, so I'm probably just not used to it yet. I do like the tunes and stuff, but I'm more liking the build up and end then the start. I just think the start is just to ambient for something, iddno lol!
