  7. Jason Regler ‏ @Jayreg1969 Canada here we come !!!! Saturday we fly ! Looks like they coming to my country tomorrow!
  8. Yeah, it's been kind of slow. I still enjoy the album though, listening to it as I type this. News and excitement should start up again when they start touring in a few days. And hopefully if an EP is released, then things will get crazy on here again.
  9. Yeah, I pretty much agree that CB is not going to get any sort of proper release now. It's too late. On to the next one. PoC. Don't like the song, but I strangely have high hopes for the video. I agree with the above posters on how they compared Clocks to CB. Same thing could be said about The Scientist. Was never a chart-topper, but in the long-run didn't really matter. I view CB in that same light.

Pretty much been half a year now (that felt fast)
  11. I hope Usher is......best song hes put out since 4 years
  12. First Review I have seen: "Bon Iver, Coldplay's Chris Martin, and Ke$ha (yes, Ke$ha) score golden tickets to the Lips' sonic Wonka factory on this exclusive Record Store Day release. Their fresh influx of ideas on The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends creates new flavor profiles for the band's loopy psychedelic slurry: Ke$ha spews shards of sass over robot rocker ''2012'' and Martin's dreamy falsetto melts into the meditative dirge ''I Don't Want You to Die,'' while Bon Iver's ''Ashes in the Air'' casts its own woozy spell. Frontman Wayne Coyne remains a singular ringmaster, but here's proof that even mad geniuses need Fwends." Grade: A Source: http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20586109,00.html
  13. I remember in some interview, CM has stated that they don't like to play Talk and SoS. I believe the SoS part was in the Howard Stern interview, he said that they never liked the final outcome of the song. The last time I remember them playing SoS live was in one gig in 2011 and it was only 1:30 of the song (was just CM and his piano). As for Talk, I think I read somewhere that Guy doesn't like it (though I am not completely sure of this). As for current album, I also recall CM saying that it would be tough to play UWTB live. So I doubt that will get played. DLIBYH will be played no doubt (they were sound-checking that).
  14. How many songs did they play during the VLV tour?
  15. Something small I noticed. Not sure how 'valid' it is. But since there has been no official announcement on release dates, here it is. This site: http://www.radio1.gr/music/forthcoming_uk_singles.htm Initially announced CB to be released on the 19th of March. But, a couple weeks ago, it got moved to the 'coming soon' section. It also announced that PoC will be released on June 4th. Today, I was checking it, and CB has been taken off from the 'coming soon' section and it is not listed anymore. Not sure what this means, as this is not really an official source. Many of their other release dates are on point though, so take it for what its worth.
  16. Great: Charlie Brown (10/10) --> Classic Coldplay Song Paradise (9/10) --> I like hip-hop, and I like the hip-hop infused sound Hurts Like Heaven (9/10) --> Guitar Riffs! and I like the lyrics Don't Let it Break Your Heart (9/10) --> Perfect song when Driving Up With The Birds (9/10) --> 2nd half of this song is just a huge smile Good: Major Minus (8/10) --> This song grew on me a lot. Used to not like it, now love it. Us Against The World (7.5/10) -->Is it just me or is the live version not any good? U.F.O. (7.5/10) --> Old-school Acoustic vibe Average or Indifferent or Meh: ETIAW (6/10) --> decent enough song, but the name is cringe-worthy PoC (4/10) --> Rihanna UIF (6/10) --> beat is kind of annoying, but the water line at the end is great
  17. Entertainment Weekly's full list of the 30 Greatest Artists Right Now from their Special Music Issue in order: 1. Adele 2.Taylor Swift 3. Drake 4. Carrie Underwood 5. Katy Perry 6. Beach House I know these lists are subjective, but it's a pretty shitty one nonetheless. Asap Rocky over Coldplay...wtf were they thinking Nicki Minaj at #8, Carrie Underwood at #4, lol.

  19. From what I understand, its a good thing! Basically, he thought that someone like CM (who is part of a world famous band) would want to book studio time etc. to make the recording. But, in reality, CM just sang his part on the phone and sent it. In a sense, CM is more down to earth than what he originally thought. That's my interpretation of it.
  20. ^ nice read lol, but does CM really have that type of reputation. Would have never thought that, always comes of as a nice guy.
  21. Strange that Paradise is moving up. MX is down 7 spots, but there are also 5 new entries above it.
  22. Yeah, that's a good spot in terms of sales Coldplay are in. Adele is basically a monster, Lana's and Emile's albums came out earlier in the year, and Ed Sheeran is showing great longevity. Debut albums usually stick around longer. In terms of sales for those albums in 2012, here it is: 1 - 408,800 - Adele - 21 2 - 358,000 - Lana Del Rey - Born To Die 3 - 349,800 - Emeli Sande - Our Version Of Events 4 - 298,800 - Ed Sheeran - + 5 - 199,800 - Coldplay - Mylo Xyloto 6 - 163,600 - Bruno Mars - Doo-Wops & Hooligans 7 - 154,000 - David Guetta - Nothing But The Beat 8 - 151,600 - Jessie J - Who You Are 9 - 149,800 - Military Wives - In My Dreams 10 - 127,600 - Olly Murs - In Case You Didn't Know So Coldplay's total UK Sales (908.000 from 2011 + 199.800 from 2012 so far) is 1.107.800. In reference, VLV has sold roughly 1.420.000 in the UK since its debut in 2008. MX may eventually surpass that total. Also, for those who care: VLV went 4 X Platinum MX is as 3 X Platinum Platinum in the UK is shipments of 300.000 albums.
  23. Charlie Brown at #33 (last week #26) Paradise at #40 (last week #37) MX at #7 (last week also at #7) This is for UK Singles and Albums Chart. So, CB falls probably due to a lack of any promo (and/or an official release?). Paradise falls, but that's fine (it did its job). They've been discounting and promoting the album, so the album sales are stable. That's good.
  24. Not Sure if Been Posted: Single Review: Coldplay - 'Charlie Brown' “Quite possibly the best thing Coldplay have ever recorded” 5 STARS http://unrealityshout.com/blogs/single-review-coldplay-charlie-brown?utm_source=Twitterfeed&utm_medium=Tweet&utm_campaign=Twitter+%28%40unrealitytv%29 It's a good read.
