  1. You're good. I'll give you that lol.
  2. 7/10 think I have a Blink-182 song on my iPod but I never listen to it.
  3. Do you know the difference between Autotune and a backing track? You probably heard a backing track composed of Chris' voice being played over. Autotune is a whole another ball game. Autotune enhances a singer's voice. I'd say, just enjoy the show for what it's worth.
  4. Familiar? Yeah I've heard this song before. I'm 99% sure this is Chris singing live. The "See each sunrise as a gift" part was just him singing it in a lower octave/register. The video makes it hard to differentiate so I can see how you misheard this part. This is sung live, I can assure you that.
  5. Passed my ambulance driver's test yesterday so now that I have everything I need, I can apply to be a EMT for an ambulance company. Run some IFT's and 911's hopefully! Year made!
  6. I believe there is a BBC radio app on the App store/Android Play Store if you have a phone that is capable of that. I'm sure the performance will be up on Youtube within a day's time. Hope things get better, message me if you need someone to talk to.
  7. Safetysuit Goo Goo Dolls Daughtry Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds Lifehouse
  8. Why are you reviving necro threads ? You seriously dashed my hopes that Molly finally logged back in again..
  9. I swear... the day is gonna come where we will have to don bulletproof vests the minute we step out of the ambulance..
  10. Will do!
  11. Yep! It's quickly becoming one of my favorites, at first I thought it was "meh" until we recorded it haha. Thank you so much for taking the time to listen! I appreciate it! We're gonna try and record a whole album of my songs. Coldplay are one of my favorite bands haha so. I love everything they've put out, but mostly pull inspiration from the older material.
  12. So my friend and I recorded an instrumental version of a song I wrote called "True Colors". He does talk at some point in the video. If anybody cares enough to listen, I'll post it here. :P https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBJmincWrMY Mobile Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBJmincWrMY
  13. Nice little video I Ran Away. Best of luck to you, hope they pick your request.
  14. Hey oldplayers, I was playing through a song of mine on guitar in an alternate tuning when I figured out GPASUYF works out pretty so I thought I'd share it with any of you who might play guitar. Tuning: EADF#BB Verse: (221000), (554000), (443000), (332000) Chorus: (10109800), (554300), (776500)
  15. Not long to go until the start of the tour!
  16. All I can say is that you're trying to boil down the ocean. Best of luck though.
  17. This actually happens in most threads. This isn't an isolated incident.
  18. Baseball is the best. What you're referring to is the World Series. Baseball is America's pastime. As someone who played 15 years of it, I can tell you that much. It's much better than Football. ;)
  19. I love me too @Jedi Leo If you want rockier songs, check out a band called Safetysuit. They're one of my favorites.
  20. Oh haha you got me.. Make sure you put a /S down in the future. :P "When would you ever expect someone to go "I wish I would have liked this music back then"??" Sometimes people stick to only listening to specific music, which is great, power to them. I'm trying to articulate that there is more out there if you are willing enough to open up to it. And you have stated that you have given it a chance, but it's not your thing. That's fine too. In today's modern age, for better or for worse, we don't have to chain ourselves down. As they say, the sky is the limit. It's just whenever I see you post about Coldplay and what used to be, I can't help but wish to help you see all the other wonderful songs they have released post 2009. It feels like(do correct me if i am wrong) you have listened to the newer stuff, but dislike most of it. When hearing new music from your favorite artists, do you compare them to previous works? Or do you view them from an open fresh perspective? Both ways are perfectly fine. I've noticed with the Oldplayers thread, it feels like a lot of reminiscing about the past. Which is great to do, but what if one day you get so caught up in the past that you forget what lies ahead of you? You know what I mean? I just don't want you to feel stuck in time listening to the first 4 albums. Again it's just something I personally have come to notice; with a lot of "Oldplayers". I've never met you in real life but I'm sure if I did you would seem very passionate and down to earth which is very admirable I must say to conclude. :)
  21. Oh I know that is not your name but you said and I quote, "by all means do call me that". :P Interesting.. Hmm. Most is a broad term. Well that's great that you like Paradise, Princess Of China and Fun, to an extent. Change is the only constant in life, aside from death and taxes. I'm trying to broaden your Coldplay musical horizon. You really are missing out on fun(pun intended) stuff. Later in life you may look back and wish that you would have opened up to change. Instead of clinging onto the past. I will say though, as each day goes by, I personally gain a better understanding and profound gratitude for the first 3 albums. I will commend you on your admiration and passion for the first 3 albums. It is unlikely any I have seen before. As the lyrics to Politik go, " Open up your eyes". ;)
  22. Okay Nancy, so answer this please. You yourself have said that you enjoy the songs Ghost Story, Atlas and Moving To Mars. Those songs are post 2009. What say thou? :P
