Just wondering if there's anybody else using this? If there aren't I HIGHLY reccomend it. Basically it's amp sim software. It has a ton of amp heads, cabs, effects and rack gear that you can use and the possibilities are endless, I'm actually going to start using this for live performances as it would be easy enough just to run my guitar through into my audio interface into my laptop into the PA, and it sounds a hell of allot better than allot of amps not so good venues have and allot lighter than lugging a decent tube amp around, and although I never thought I'd say this, it does get pretty damn close to a tube sound if you set it up right. I've been using it mainly for my metalcore side of things as it's relatively easy to get a decent clean sound, but when I have time to mess around I'm certain there's be some interesting clean sounds to be had.
  9. I feel so sorry for a drummer's wallet, us guitarists have it easy :P
  10. Oh yeah I completely forgot to send you a copy of those, there they are :P Saturday tomorrow so I'll tab the chords, they aren't conventional so I cant just say C or D or whatever.
  11. Don't quote me on this, but I think SM57's are used allot, so I'd just buy a couple more, or SM58's and remove the pop filter, they're exactly the same.
  12. Dropped out of school before taking GCSE's and had to work harder to get less qualifications. Not to bothered as I'm committed enough to catch up, just bloody stupid not to get it out of the way.
  13. Sure, the tuning is EADGC#C# (same as Violet Hill, LITII if you can play those) for the acoustic, although you can play it with bar chords in standard but it doesn't sound as good. I'll whack the chords up after college but the lyrics are:
  14. Cheers for the crit! I absolutely love Takamine guitars when it comes to electronics. There's plate reverb on my voice and I sing the verses an octave down from the original, but I definitely agree about needing to improve my lows, I can only really sing with any power right at the top of my range at the moment. 15. I just got one today, got a high end squier for a bargain and I'm gonna whack fender parts on it. Why on earth do people put .9's on stock though, they're just terrible.

  17. Nice one! Is this in standard? Might learn it.
  18. I would be up for this, I have a potential song to work on too. It was unfinished at this point, this was just a VERY rough recording to show my band, and it's finished now, but it would be really interesting to see what else could be done with it. I have both an electric & acoustic guitar, and a little bit of mixing knowledge. I also have MUCH better recording equipment now than in this clip.
