i really am hoping they'll hit the north-west a little. like you said, this is a much more constrained tour they have announced so far. we'll just have to wait and see i guess.

i think coldplay have been garnering a steadily declining media interest since mylo (including mylo), even when they do hugely relevant events. it comes with the territory. nothing you can do about that (musically), unless you put out a hugely successful and/or critically acclaimed album to peak the interest again.

let's just calm down. i am not comfortable with everything that is posted here (or the much worse, weirder stuff out there in the web by coldplay fans that are really shocking) but we are just having a laugh :) let's just chill. edit: BUT if a lot of people find certain posts offensive or uncomfortable, please share your thoughts (either privately or publicly). we don't want anyone to feel marginalized or offended here :) it goes both ways.

they are switching up the setlist more than the mx shows. they might settle on something that really works and flows after sometime. but for the time being, let's enjoy! like you said, it's only been 3 shows of a 2 year tour so far.

seems it's the other way round. chris himself said that the tour is centered around the album and all the other songs of the setlist are chosen to fit and flow with the ahfod songs they play.

come on! every tour is supporting an album. that's why it is named as such. and every tour has favored more songs from that album. that's just the way it is. so ahfod tour will have more ahfod songs than any other album. in my opinion, money doesn't have anything to do with the fact that they are playing 6-7 songs from ahfod, in the ahfod tour! edit: yep, jc put that well :)

promoting ahfod is the point of the tour. this is to be expected and has been the case every single tour supporting an album. other than that, i agree with you to an extent.

politik performance just gave me chills! it's an incredibly rare song, that can make you feel just like the day you first heard it, years and years after! what a song! i'm just glad the band seem to love and appreciate the song as it is deserved, just like us fans.

let's calm down people. as someone already said, it's just the first day of a long, two year tour. let's give them a chance to work out the kinks and get it better. but to me, the length of the show is a different matter. let's see how tomorrow turns out :) want to see what the people who actually attended the show thought.

ok, honestly, 2 hours is an improvement over the mx shows. but they should do better than this in terms of the number of songs. tickets have gone up a lot since!
