Do u live near the sea? Still very warm, 25°C. Even though winter daylight saving time just started. I'm not complaining.- What Operating System do you use on your PC?
^Same. Tried the 8 but NO.- Arcade Fire

I'm curious to see Pitchfork's review.- parachutes and arobtth in nme's 500 greatest albums of all time!
That's nice but how can you respect NME when they allow themselves to be this fangirly?- What made you LOL today?
A Day In The Lyf Of Gaga <3- Arcade Fire
Yes in the sense that the only thing I don't like about it is the chorus to Awful Sound (it's kinda cheesy). But the first 4 songs on the first disc ("carnival") are awesome. The beggining and the end of the album are perfect, the middle is kinda iffy (Normal Person and Joan Of Arc are great tho).- Arcade Fire
The album tracks, "Here Comes the Night Time" and "Here Comes the Night Time II", each appear on the album's respective halves, with Butler noting, "The second one was actually written first and it almost starts the second half of the record – kind of like after the [Haitian] Carnival. Both of them are very much influenced by when the sun is just starting to go down in Port au Prince, and it's really intense because most of the city doesn't have electricity so everyone is just racing to get home before dark." The first of the two tracks references missionaries, in part: "The absurdity that you can go to a place like Haiti and teach people something about God. Like, the opposite really seems to be true, in my experience."- Arcade Fire
I don't see the point in rating their albums + it's hard because they're all good. Every one of them was my favorite at some point. First it was Neon Bible, then Funeral, then The Suburbs and now Reflektor. I'm not saying The Suburbs is as good as Funeral but at least it's normal and not so tragic as the first two. If you reduce it to 10-11 songs it's fine. Also I don't really get the Flashbulb Eyes hate. Sure the lyrics are dumb but the song is F.U.N! :D It's an extension of HCTNT. Oh and I don't hate You Already Know anymore. I still think it doesn't belong on this record but I won't be skipping it in the future. It's... charming. I think that the whole album is by The Reflektors and that song is ironically by Arcade Fire.- Arcade Fire
ABSOLUTELY! :dazzled: I just googled it. http://rock.rapgenius.com/Arcade-fire-its-never-over-oh-orpheus-lyrics They probably got it from the lyrics video. You have the lyrics to the rest of the album on that site.- Arcade Fire
Hey, Orpheus! I'm behind you Don't turn around I can find you Just wait until it's over Wait until it's through And if I call for you Oh, Orpheus! Just sing for me all night We'll wait until it's over Wait until it's through You say it's not me, it's you Hey, Orpheus! De l'autre côté de l'eau Comme un écho Just wait until it's over Wait until it's through And if I shout for you Never doubt Don't turn around too soon Just wait until it's over Wait until it's through It seems so important now But you will get over It seems so important now But you will get over And when you get over When you get older Then you will remember Why it was so important then Seems like a big deal now But you will get over Seems like a big deal now But you will get over When you get over And when you get older Then you will discover That it's never over Hey, Eurydice! Can you see me? I will sing your name Till you're sick of me Just wait until it's over Just wait until it's through But if you call for me This frozen sea It melts beneath me Just wait until it's over Wait until it's through Seems like a big deal now But you will get over Seems like a big deal now But you will get over And when you get over And when you get older Then you will remember He told you he'd wake you up When it was over He told you he'd wake you up When it was over Now that it's over Now that you're older Then you will discover That it's never over It's never over (it's never over) [8x] Sometime (Sometime) Sometime (Sometime) Boy, they're gonna eat you alive (eat you alive) But it's never gonna happen now We'll figure it out somehow Sometime (Sometime) Sometime (Sometime) Boy, they're gonna eat you alive (eat you alive) But it's never gonna happen now We'll figure it out somehow Cause it's never over It's never over (it's never over) [6x] We stood beside A frozen sea I saw you out In front of me Reflected light A hollow moon Oh Orphes, Eurydice It's over too soon   - LP6 Excitement! (it's prediction time)
I hope their album will drop when I forget about Reflektor because I'll probably be a bitch if it's not as good as it. Also U2 should tread lightly, I really want their album to be great too but they can easily turn into douchebags and just put unnecessary pressure on Chrissy. Either way, another exciting year ahead of us!- Arcade Fire
My grade went from 8 to 8.5 to 9/10 now. Album of the year.- Arcade Fire
Oh. :D I thought that was their personal non-VEVO channel. Um yeah I know I saw it in 1959 before it was cool. :pimp2:- Arcade Fire
Supersymmetry is a really beautiful way to finish this record. It could almost be on Funeral. The thing I just realized - strings are much less prominent on this album.- Arcade Fire
OMG! How is this even possible? (Lol won't it piss off their record label?) This film was the missing link, obviously a big inspiration for this album but also the thing that connects the 2 main themes here that have nothing to do with each other - the tropical sound and the Orpheus and Eurydice myth. And OMG :bomb: it just keeps sounding better and better, your rip was better than the one on TPB and this is better than yours. - This or That?
