Umm I don't think we can make any difference. It's their decision. But they're a really good choice, sports teams relatively often use their songs to celebrate victories etc. (Viva, Paradise,...) As for the Olympics, the fact that they have a show booked that day doesn't mean that it's a definitive no. They could reschedule it or maybe even perform at both places. (Not really.) BTW, weren't they supposed to perform at Abu Dhabi for New Year's eve, but they perfomed at Austin the same day? What's the deal with that? I suppose Austin was maybe pre-recorded?
