It IS like that. I ignored the new stuff the whole summer - ETIAW, Paradise, live versions of songs at the festivals, but when I heard the album it was love at first listen. :dazzled: And I am still not sick of any song... It appears to be an expendable pop record but it does have depth to it and it grows on you massively.

It's still U2. They weren't the biggest band in the 90s but they reinvented and "recommercialized" themselves in the 21st century. They recently concluded the biggest tour of all time, by far surpasing the previous record. That's a pretty impressive feat. Coldplay is the close second, and probably the biggest band when U2 steps down. Radiohead, Muse, Linkin Park, Green Day etc. (sorry for putting them in the same sentence) are not likely heirs.
