Agreed...you have some cool pictures there, Rob. What section were you in?? I keep trying to find me in the crowd on that one you have of Chris during In My Place. Unfortunately, I think I'm up one row from the top. Oh well! By the way, you have some really nice pictures from other concerts on there, too! Especially liked the ones from U2 on 5/14...I was there, too, so that was pretty cool. Also, I just figured out how to get some of my pictures off of Photobucket and on here...so...enjoy! :)

Yeah, that's exactly what happened last night as far as I can tell. He was rambling on about being liberal and stuff...and then someone told him to shut up. And he just said, "You want to get on this stage?" and blah, blah, blah. Honestly, I was REALLY looking forward to Ashcroft, but he was a real jerk. Bittersweet Symphony was at least good though. How about his whole story about how he heard Imagine and it saved his life during some random trip to an Indian casino? Random.

I'm in 105, so I'd love to help out with this. Ahh...only like 11 days or so until the concert? The last one in the US for three years-ish? I think they'll be AMAZING. Hopefully they'll break out some amazing B-sides.

Low is actually a really good one...I'll have to keep that in mind. I also came up with A Rush of Blood to the Head. And Clocks sounded good, but then I realized that I have NO idea what it's about. :lol: And David Brent is one of my heroes...although, Michael Scott (from the American Office) is pretty hilarious, too.

OK...so I have this assignment for my English class. I need to write a two page analytical essay on the meaning of a poem or song. Naturally, I want to do a Coldplay song...but I'm having trouble picking one. I was thinking Swallowed in the Sea for a time, but it just seems too literal. Does anyone have any ideas for a Coldplay song that would be good for this assignment? Or, any other songs for that matter...I'm a big U2 and Beatles fan, too. :D I thank you for any inspiration you could give me!

The only album song I usually skip is A Whisper. I don't know...just doesn't connect with me at all. And sometimes I skip What If. It's not that I don't like the song, I really do! It's just that I REALLY want to get to White Shadows. You know...I really should stop doing that. I'm missing out! :lol: I just have to say...how could anyone skip Yellow, The Scientist, or Clocks?? I mean, I get that they got overplayed...but they're amazing songs! Well, to each his own, of course! BUT, if you skip Swallowed in the Sea, I can never forgive you. :P

pcsoc10, I wish I could help you. I've looked pretty much everywhere around the Internet for that concert. It was my first Coldplay concert ever, so it would be really special to have a recording. I'll add my name to this list...if anyone has it, I'd really appreciate it. Although, I'm starting to get worried after these 5 months!

I have 112 Coldplay songs on my computer...and that's not even counting other bootlegs and such. :D I feel obsessed. :lol:

Does the guitar riff around 3:34 remind anyone else of U2's Walk On?? I think the Edge got a copy of a demo tape from a band he thought was going nowhere and decided to take a bit. Maybe that's why Coldplay didn't want to release it. Can't implicate Edge! :lol:

I'm really liking it. It's completely different than I expected...considering it sounds NOTHING like the Coldplay we know today. I wouldn't have thought it was them until Chris started singing. I just love the way he sings "hygiene" in the song though...it's...completely unexplainable. But in a good way! :lol:

Not sure if this has been mentioned in the seven pages (I apologize if it has), but doesn't it seem like Corbjin likes killing off the subjects of his videos? :lol: Did it with The Killers and now he's doing it again with Coldplay. I wonder if he's done it in his videos with U2? I can't seem to find any of those to check...but after seeing the Talk video, I'm eager to see more of his videos.

Wow...my seats look pretty good with that 3D thing!. I'm in Section 105, Row 6...kind of far away, but for the $56 tickets, I'm really happy. It's better than being in 219, Row 11 (behind the stage) like I was for U2 in May! Now comes the hard part...waiting for April to roll around. I can't believe it's the closer for the U.S. leg. The band is definitely going to go all out!

Yep...they're on the floor! Check the seating chart...it's kind of hard to tell, but you'll see 108 squeezed in there. I think the Level 1 was Price Level 1. I, too, got really good seats for the same show. Really happy! By the way, where is this site that I can see what the seats look like? I'd love to see how mine are. Thanks!
