You could always try Rapidshare. I know that a lot of people don't like it...but it's always been consistent for me. http://www.rapidshare.de

is there a song on your mind that wont leave you alone???
Same with me...though I am completely embarrassed to say it. It's just one of those annoying songs that you can't get out of your head. I just wish my local radio station wouldn't play it so much! Although, on the subject of actually GOOD music, Swallowed in the Sea has been in my head since X&Y came out. Oh, and Live8 got me obsessed with Bittersweet Symphony.

He mentioned "bringing a cheesesteak hoagie to the Coldplay show!" I can't wait for some recordings to come out so I can hear it again.

Here's a Coldplay wallpaper I made...
Hey guys, thanks for the compliments! :D It's not too hard to get the pictures from the video, actually. I have iTunes, and I just took screenshots. Then, just cut everything apart and put it how you like it. If you have any minor experience with Paint (an easy program to begin with), I'm sure you could do one with any video! I have a U2--All Because of You one in the same style. I'll post that if anyone wants it. And I'm sure I'll be tempted to do a Fix You one when it hits iTunes!

I was in the second to last row of the seats, but it was fine. I was surprised with how good the seats were. I saw U2 earlier this year, and I have to say that I thought Coldplay were better. They had an energy that U2 just didn't have. My favorite part of the show had to be when Chris messed up at the beginning of The Hardest Part. But when he mentioned bringing a cheesesteak hoagie to the Coldplay show during Everything's Not Lost was great, too! Just one question...does anyone know where Chris actually went when he ran around during In My Place? I completely lost him! Easily the best concert I've been at. 10/10 Oh, and nflblitz, I think I saw you before the show started. I made a mental note of the Weezer shirt and commented on how Coldplay fans like other great bands, too.

Coldplay "Dingbats"
Well, mine was actually A Rush of Blood to the Head, but Careful Where You Stand definitely works. And I'm going to guess Everything's Not Lost!

Here's a Coldplay wallpaper I made...
It's not the best...I put it together in about 5 minutes with Microsoft Paint. Unfortunately, I don't have Photoshop yet, but I'm trying! Until then, enjoy this. It's 1024 x 768...so hopefully the site doesn't resize it.

free ipod
I read about that site in Popular Science! They said that it actually does work. You have to complete an offer, and then get like 5 people to complete an offer for you to get the iPod. Problem is, these "free offers" require you to usually pay a $5 shipping charge or something. But when it comes down to it, 35 bucks isn't bad for an iPod. They also said that there was this online library offer that was free to complete, and they only put it up for limited times...that way, you can really get a FREE iPod.

Coldplay "Dingbats"
Trouble! I thought it was Sorry! Looks like I mixed up my board games. :D But...but...Careful Where You Stand works too. Right? :/

Coldplay "Dingbats"
Umm...just a guess here, but Careful Where You Stand?

Coldplay "Dingbats"
OK...um...I'm thinking Only Superstition and You Only Live Twice? Possibly?

Coldplay "Dingbats"
Good try...but not exactly. Try checking up the Hitchhiker's catch-phrase. ;)

Square One! Hmm...maybe I'll try and make this a little tougher!

Your first time with Coldplay ...
Well, I heard Yellow when it first came out, but being young then, I didn't realize the greatness that was Coldplay. Anyway, around when A Rush of Blood to the Head was released, I was looking around in Target and saw it for $7.99. I had heard good things about it, and figured it was worth the risk. Well, I listened to it for a bit, but it didn't do too much for me. Two months later, I was sick, stuck at home, and bored...and I saw the CD and decided to give it another chance. :idea2: I was hooked. And I've been a Coldplay fan ever since!

Coldplay's Gravity or Embrace's???
There's recordings of Coldplay playing it? I've got to hear it! Can anyone point me in the direction of one of these? Although, I have to say, without hearing the Coldplay version, the Embrace one is wonderful and is one of my favorite tracks on their CD. I just discovered them a few weeks ago, and I am SO glad I did.

Am I The Only One Who Doesn't Like Swallowed In The Sea?
I think that The Hardest Part and Swallowed in the Sea are the same kind of song. Basically, if you don't like one, you won't like the other. Personally, I love them...and I would rank both of those songs in the Top 5 of the album. But what's wrong with the lyrics? I understand that they're simple and sometimes don't make sense ("you cut me down a tree and brought it back to me"), but they're heartfelt and easy to relate to. Sometimes bands like to go back to basics for a song or two!

"Low" is the Highlight of X & Y
When the CD came out, Low was my least favorite song on the album...now, however, I think it's one of the best. I think it's one of those songs that you either love instantly or it takes a while to grow on you. Obviously, for me it was the second choice. And I cannot WAIT to hear it live. I just wish they'd play Swallowed in the Sea. :/

Guy has a kid?!
Aww...come on! R&H isn't that bad! Hawkmoon and Angel of Harlem make up for any of its shortcomings. :D

An idea about Talk...
I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, so if it has, I'm sorry. But, to me, it seems like the new version of Talk is something that Chris wrote when he found out when he was going to be a father? The beginning of the song,"Oh brother, I can't believe it's true. I'm so scared about the future and I want to talk to you." is really what makes me think that. Knowing Chris, it's probably about something completely different. But everytime I listen to it, I can't help but think about little Apple. What do you guys think?

My X Tracks & Y Tracks Theory
It seems like Square One is trying to figure out questions about life, while Speed of Sound is about finding the answers to those questions. Maybe that's just my opinion though...
