You guys are a little bit wrong, this is the right story: In January 1998 Coldplay were planning their first gig but they hadn't a name, so they choose between Trombaleese, Big Fat Noises and Starfish, in the end, as you can guess, they choose starfish but they used that name just for that gig then they changed it to The Coldplay and finally Coldplay They never really used the other two names
