  1. since Hannah asked for me, heres the bidet we have in our flat , after ur done doing ur business in the toilet, you get up, sit there, open the water faucet, splash it in the private parts, use intimate wash, rinse, use a towel to dry yourself, and you are good to go clean as a whistle
  2. Hello friends, I don't think i have written in here in something like 5 years and that should be enough of a sign of how fucking great this album is. My thoughts are a bit messy but i'll try to find some kind of cohesiveness. Let's start with the """weak""" points which in my opinion aren't weak at all: - lack of cohesiveness, in my opinion albums that are way too cohesive are boring, repetitive, don't really branch out, i prefer an album that isn't cohesive but every song is unique and totally different from the other and offers something new - this is a "chris album" and the others can barely heard: totally disagree with this, this is the first album since Parachutes and arguably X&Y where you can actually HEAR Guy, and holy shit, the basslines are the absolute highlight of the entire album, the wild drumming is back and im here for it, as for jonny, yeah i agree that his electric guitar can be heard in like... 1/4 of the album but we literally have no evidence that chris is the one playing the acoustics in the album, maybe what we hear is all Jonny, we need to see how they play the songs live on the 22nd That's about it when it comes to the negative, now here's the ranking: Standouts: - trouble in town (maybe my favorite coldplay song ever and im not even joking) - arabesque (still can't believe theyve done THAT) - eko (this sounds straight out of a elbow album, ive always wanted this) - guns (holy shit the guitars and lyrics in this little masterpiece, also it reminds me of radioheads "i might be wrong" acoustic version) - old friends (again, the guitar HOLY SHIT the guitar jesus christ the beginning sounds like an Hozier song, amazing outstanding revolutionary) Songs i really like because of how different they are from the rest of their discography: - church (basically if Massive Attack were to make a pop album, the drums sound like proper Massive Attack drums) - broken (i like gospel songs in hip hop albums (take kanye west) so this is nice) - cry cry cy (really gets stuck in your head) - bani adam (the piano in it makes me cry) Least favourites but not at all bad songs: - daddy (not a fan of corny ballads sorry) - orphans (its actually a great pop song i just don't think its that different from any of the other pop songs you hear BUT shout-out to the deep lyrics) - everyday life (eh) - champions of the world (sorry i just..... i dont get this song, i dont get why its so hyped, not a fan of its production and structure) - when i need a friend (probably my least favourite) Ranking compared to the other albums: - Parachutes - Viva la Vida - Everyday Life - A rush of blood to the head - MX - X&Y - AHFOD - Ghost Stories
  3. Low vs Twisted Logic
  4. Harmless vs Moving to Mars
  5. ?!?!?! in 2000 mainstream songs talked about butts too, like Baby's got Back, or Hot in Herre or i could go on... also there loads of non-mainstream songs that talk about butts its always been like this, both mainstream and non-mainstream music have a side were they main focus is on butts, acohol, parties, drugs, trashing hotel rooms, having casual sex, shaming other people for said casual sex, cheating and another side were the main focus is about emotions, whatever they are and its fine to listen to both, or talk about both (shaming people not so much or cases like blurred lines which are just ewwwwww) also have you ever heard/read the lyrics for pills and potions by nicki minaj??? every mainstream act has both side, the deeper and ligther ones
  6. this is fine for you to think that, if aband or music style doesnt reflect what you wanna hear, its normal for you to dislike it, but i wont call it "fall from grace", that a strong word for something which changes from person to person
  7. the only releases by coldplay that weren't mainstream were the three EPs previous from parachutes, yellow was the biggest song of the 2000 and most played songs in the radio... trouble, shiver too were mainstream, the scientist was mainstrem, clocks hell its on of the biggest singles to date i think politik and aoal are not different artistically speaking, they just aim at something different, politik makes you think about your choices, aoal makes you wanna live life at its fullest, those songs have different styles and aim at a different reaction from the crowd and its unfair that one songs should be treated with a less "respectful" manner just cause it wants to make people dance instead of thinking. dancing, enjoying stuff without thinking about is part of us and so its natural that some music doesnt aim at making you think about the world, but just wants you to enjoy the dance floor
  8. bands/artists get money for the sales or either band merch or concert tickets and just a little part from cd/download sales, the rest goes all to the record company that's why bands/acts are actually a lot less richer than people may think, a lot of the money they make goes to the record company, the bigger you get the more money your record company recieves, but if you dont do well in concerts, then you're screwed
  9. but a lot of not-mainstream songs talk about shallow stuff too! most rock music just talks about trashing hotel rooms, doing drugs and having sex! Also theres this phenomenon going on with mainstream music, most songs now dont talk about sex almost anymore, or drugs or bad behaviour they talk about the same stuff not-mainstream music talks about, happiness... sadness... the only difference is that it appeals the radio and thus reaches more people and makes more sales (but artists dont get money from sales only for concerts) and why should that be considerated like a bad thing? just because 9000000000 people listened to sorry by justin bieber doesnt mean they weren't thinking about it..... they maybe were listening to the radio while waiting for someone in the car, or maybe listening it with their beloves ones, and in a 50 years time, you may listen to sorry by justin bieber and think "wow remember when i was 14 and this song was popular and i had a great time with it in the background" this is what music is... not money, not mainstream/underground, music is background for your memories, theres no such thing as shallow music, its all part of your life and nothing that is part of your life is shallow
  10. I still dont get why you hate mainstream music, like, what did it do to get hated by you people? im not criticizing you, i just really wanna understand, and its not about the money cause some not-mainstream acts make more money than mainstream ones...
  11. as far as the last two albums being gargabe, thats really up to you and the genres you like/dislike, so its not a fact, for me the last two album shows what they are capable of and how they can change their skin while their core its still there. for the concert thing, you cant blame coldplay, thats up to the music industry in general, foo figthers, muse cost the same exact price as coldplay, there are bands like the rolling stones that are even more expensive, or acts like taylor swfit cost a lot more than coldplay. The music industry is changing so quickly that i wont be surprised if in 10 years they will charge 200 euros a ticket
  12. i play bass :D
  13. Paranoid Android -The Butcher
  14. RADIOHEAD - SPECTRE
  15. I've just counted them, i have 51 CDs but i cant take a proper photo now, since 46 are here right know in front of me but put in a messy way, and 5 of them are in northern italy in my rented house (i study there), im gonna wait til they all are together and im gonna take a great photo!
  16. when you see people fighting like this, spitting on music like this, and considerading other people inferior just because of their taste in music, this place can only be described as a shithole if it were just a place to share their opinions with compelling proof and comparisons, i would've liked it, but this is just about pure hate about coldplay and the people who enjoy other genres, im not referring to you but other people but i cant be bothered remembering their username
  17. just the mixing on jonnys guitar, if it were more prominent i wouldve liked that album a bit more, but its my favourite album by coldplay or at least at the same level with viva so i dont complain much
  18. say what you want but i really CANT hate x marks the spot, its actually one of the songs i enjoy the most on the album
