it's like going to = gonna want to = wanna sort ot thing ahah no in italy every word changes, and when i say every i mean it, sometimes it changes meaning too or there are words in your dialect that you can't translate in italian because it only exists in your dialect like tomorrow = domani = crej that crej comes latin cras which means, well, tomorrow, sometimes dialects are more close to latin or even french than italian

yes that's the thing in italy, every region, every town has a his own language and then there's the italian language, it's not rare to find old people that can't speak in italian because they never went to school an example english: "go to work" italian: "vai a lavorare" my dialect, called Canosino: "veh a fatighej" it changes completely lol btw i'm from Puglia, so maybe you know my dialect too
