Coldplay's discography is at the stage where they can experiment greatly with their setlist, this is great; however it will result in some songs we would expect to be performed being left out. ETIAW seems like it might be replaced with ASFOS, I'm hoping Violet Hill won't be dropped. It would be nice to hear some X&Y material that isn't Fix You!

Way too many cuts, Chris barely got to speak!

For me the anticipation of MX made it more enjoyable and memorable; I appreciated each new song when it was released. The sixth months of waiting between the first single and the album release was perfect for me.

Am I the only one curious to why Chris said AHFOD is the completion of something? Is he hinting that Coldplay are going to go through a transformation for LP8? Personally I would like to see the band steer away from pop and make an album full of badass songs like Violet Hill, Major Minus, God Put A Smile Upon Your Face, Chinese Sleep Chant, Daylight and 1.36; although this is unlikely as it doesn't appeal to a mainstream audience.

Just sat through this, some great footage that works perfectly with the music. It makes me miss the Viva era, it seemed so fresh and new; I like Coldplay's new stuff (last three albums), but the music doesn't hit me in the same way. They really were on top of their game in 2008, lets hope LP8 is another masterpiece... I'm willing to wait three years after a tour if thats what it takes!

Up&Up could be a good addition to the set, although it'll have to be shortened. I can imagine a massive sing along for the finale with a ton of fireworks going off at "Believe in love".

I hope Beyonce doesn't premier a new song, she will steal the limelight, imagine if it was a new duet with Bruno Mars, that would definitely get all the headlines.

I hope Coldplay can be involved for at least 8-10 minutes of the show; they're too generous!

I'm hoping for Xylobands and two songs (definitely AOAL and maybe HFTW); the performance in 2011 really boosted sales, it helped make Paradise number one in the UK. They need to make themselves stand out over Adele.

Yep, although I am liking AHFOD the hint of returning to the Parachutes/AROBTTH eras would be fantastic; the quote is below. Chris was asked about the next step for Coldplay, he replied "I think we just love to exist in this world for a while and tour it (AHFOD) for a long time, we could rediscover some older stuff". I would take this with a pinch of salt, he could be talking about playing older songs on tour.

Well all I can say is that it's perfectly timed, it will help boost sales throughout AHFOD's opening week... I think!

Yeah, I don't really understand the mass appeal, her music is powerful, but I'd much rather listen to Trouble than Hello.

Lets just hope they promote the album like crazy in the next week; the AOAL video should help. It seems Coldplay haven't really emerged in the same way as other albums. For example AOAL on Youtube only has 9.5 million views, this seems like allot but compared to Hello's 497 million views it seems very little. It also doesn't help that Adele just announced her tour with the tickets going on sale the same day AHFOD is released. She really is stealing the limelight from other artists.

What does it mean by unreserved seating/standing. I have been allocated seats but do I also have the option to stand?
