  1. No, but I drowned my iPhone at the end of the great 2016 Chicago AHFOD monsoon that canceled the show thirty minutes or more early. I had to find my husband who was driving around the city trying to meet up with me after an abrupt end to his Star Trek movie Ninety minutes later, after using several kind strangers’ phones, we found each other. And that leads to my question: Have you ever gotten separated from a friend at an event an not (or almost not) found each other? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. Yes - twice. Once, at 15, when during choir practice, the choir with many of my friends surprised me (I was the piano player) with balloons, a decorated chocolate chip cookie and my favorite stuffed animals ever (a frog and a rabbit) that my mother got rid of without telling me when she cleaned out her house. I still miss them! Second one was when I turned 40 :gasp! Work colleagues surprised me with a party during the workday before a staff meeting. I thought it was really sweet. 11. Yes. And missed turning on my street. My niece plays college volleyball and got a concussion. She told us that when it was at its worst, she missed her stop on the college bus trip to her dorm because she couldn’t remember where she lived. When she was the only one left at the end of the route, The bus driver had to figure where she lived by her description of the building. Quite a scary experience! Have you ever thought you saw someone you knew, but it wasn’t them, then later seen the person you thought it was, even if you hadn’t seen them in a long time? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. What does this remind you of...? It is a box from candy canes from where I once worked, with the ornament @JillyBlue sent and my necklace. I immediately saw the little stage set from Christmas Lights! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. But I am especially sorry and grateful for the work I Ran Away put into this! I know it was extra hard this month. Nie, thanks to you too!!! [emoji450][emoji1623][emoji446][emoji441] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Truly sorry all!! I still have only six good hours of energy per day before I collapse and have to lie down. After walking dog twice, doing my back PT regimen, getting groceries for baking my friend’s Xmas present then making two recipes and cleaning up, I am going to fall over. I wanted nothing more than to be with you all before the holidays and yet if I’d stopped, I could not have started up again. I know a couple of you are aware of my limitations following surgery and in general, but some aren’t so I thought I’d explain that my “normal” max energy is about a third of a “normal” person’s, based on what I used to be able to do. 19. Sorry I missed again!! Holiday baking took over and I am out of energy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. @JillyBlue, I woke up to an amazing surprise seeing your package that my husband brought in last night! Thanks so much for the VERY clever ornament frame with the guys!!! How did you do that????!! The candy will be carefully savored a bit at a time through Christmas. On second thought- it will never last that long!! I was also very excited to get the love buttons and all of the confetti!! I didn’t have some of those shiny stars so I was thrilled to add them to my collection. Last, that is the cutest card! I love all of it! Thank you again!!!
  21. Agree totally. Chris said something to the extent that they wouldn’t be doing anything in the way of traditional albums in the future - or would be doing different formats. Don’t recall the exact quote but it came out during AHFOD interviews, I think. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Jane, you made my day!! I just mailed that last week!! Was determined to not be late. Santa was sure speedy on the way to you!! I love how the reindeer sits on your cat calendar! I’ll PM you on something else I thought of that I want to do for you next year.
