  1. Listen, listen, listen :D. I've cancelled all my plans tonight to listen to them live in Cologne (hope the link works!!). I'm wanting tickets for the London and Paris shows too but I've got to listen to their performance tonight.
  2. That is splendid! OMG I can't wait! Coldplay are back and I bloody love it :D!
  3. What a miserable sod this guy was by the way! I don't know why they kept showing him!
  4. With the set being literally A Sky Full of Stars surely the second song that is apparently going to be a web upload will be ASFOS? That's my logic anyways :laugh3:
  5. Tickets have all already been allocated :( Shame that.

Assuming this pic that Coldplay tweeted not long ago is from the music video to Oceans, we can now put the picture together with the song now we've heard it for the first time :D. It looks good just from seeing this!
  7. Sorry, 4 songs. The point still stands though. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it :laugh3:?
  8. They played in the Live Lounge on BBC Radio 1 this afternoon but still didn't play A Sky Full of Stars. There's only 3 songs we haven't heard off Ghost Stories yet. Apparently ASFOS is supposed to be massive, so maybe they're saving best until last??
  9. I literally check this website and coldplay.com every day in hope that they've announced tour dates in the UK, so you can imagine my ecstasy when I saw they were going to play in London at the start of July. Just hope I get tickets. Would be distraught if I didn't. I want to go to the Paris one too, but with the debacle with the Cologne tickets I think I'd be more than satisfied with just the London one :)
  10. Happy Birthday Guy :D!
  11. That looks great! Getting tips of Chris Martin :stunned:! What more can you ask for?
  12. Waking up to this news hasn't exactly put me in the best of moods; I feel sad for Chris. For all the beautiful pieces of music he and his bandmates have produced for fans like us, songs that means so much to us all, I just wish I could give something back to him right now! The whole complexion of Ghost Stories now makes much more sense. The song titles, the mood of the album and the lyrics. Songs such as 'Always In My Head' and 'Another's Arms' tell you everything. It seems very much a personal album to Chris; I understand it and love it even more now! Sending my best wishes to Chris wherever he is in the world right now, because Chris and Coldplay are Always in My Head!

Me too :D. The name of the song just makes me think it's a beautiful song. The video looks cool too. I have high expectations for this one :)
  14. Really enjoyed staying up to watch the boys back in action last night! The song of the night for me was Midnight. That looked bloody fantastic live! I can't wait to actually bit a concert when they play that live. Guy's laser harp was quite special - I love that. The lighting and everything just fits perfectly. Surpassed my expectations massively with that. Always In My Head is beautiful. I love it in fact. Can't wait to hear the track, but Chris sung it song eloquently. I liked it how he just sort of swayed side to side when he was singing it; he looked the part. Another's Arms is good but will have to grow on me in time, a bit like Midnight did really. Magic was better live too if you ask me; I was impressed with that. Chris' piano is different; it looks larger. The fact it's so the side of the stage says to me that he wants to give the band more attention as well as himself. Not only that, only Magic, Jonny had to play the piano (which was great btw) and then stood up and played guitar. The album is more stripped back, it's there for all to see. I am looking forward to listening to the tracks on repeat loads of times because gradually the songs are growing on me. Was great to see a teaser of what's to come. Just makes me more excited :D!
  15. 3am here in the UK. Will be wide awake to see the boys back in action and at the start of a new era :D!
  16. To clarify for us UK users; Coldplay aren't playing tonight (early hours of Tuesday morning) I think I'm right in saying. Because the Time Around the World link on here says Tues 03:00GMT which would mean it's just 5 hrs 30 mins away, but I'm sure it's 24 hrs later than that (so technically Weds morning at 3am). This is the link (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=Coldplay+at+iTunes+Festival+SXSW&iso=20140311T22&p1=24) that the Coldplay official Facebook page provides to Times Around the World (different to the one that is posted further up this page), presumably with the correct time?
  17. I am with those who say Midnight is the song they prefer the most out of the two they've released from Ghost Stories so far. If I'm being brutally honest I don't think both songs are 'hits' as such. Both are nice charming songs, so it'll be interesting to see how they are performed live. Magic does seem a little 'R&B' like as some have stated. The second half of the song is most definitely the better part of it, and we can hear Jonny this time! The more I listen to it the more it'll grow on me I think. I had to listen to Midnight a few times before it grew on me, so first impressions are obviously pretty raw.
  18. Like everyone else, I missed this site greatly. Great to have everything back up and running again :)
  19. They need to start playing Talk live again  :D!
  20. They changed the setlist slightly from the one pictured above. Yellow, nor GPASUYF were played, and The Scientist wasn't on the setlist either until Chris asked the rest of the band if they wanted to play it towards the end of the set. If my memory serves me right, the setlist was the following (in this order): Clocks Charlie Brown Fix You Atlas Viva La Vida Paradise The Scientist Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall ------- White Christmas Christmas Lights :)
  21. In the queue outside the Apollo :D. Doors open in 2 hours. [/img]
  22. I thought as much. Surprised there's that many there at this time. Credit to them :)
