  1. that's me, baby - bad to the bone.
  2. Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah (Live @ Sin-é)
  3. I'd poke him with a stick until I got bored Then I'd call the police and have him banged up
  4. Bright Eyes - False Advertising On a string I was held The way I move, can you tell? My actions are orchestrated from above So I swing and I sway Wave my hand, kick my leg And it's always right with the music Until all the swaying Starts to make you sick For a song I was bought Now I lie when I talk With a careful eye on the cue card Onto a stage I was pushed With my sorrow well rehearsed So give me all your pity and your money now We used to think That sound was something pure If I could act like this was my real life And not some cage where I've been placed Then I could tell you the truth like I used to And not be afraid of something fake But now everyone's listening for Are the mistakes (Sorry!) (That's okay, that's okay. One two three, one two three) In a house by myself I hear the ice start to melt And watch rooftops weep for the sunlight And I know what must change Fuck my face. Fuck my name. They are brief and false advertisements For a soul I don't have Something true I have lacked And spent my whole life trying to make up for But I found in a song And the people I love They will lift me up out of darkness Now my door stands open I'm inviting everyone in We will laugh we're gonna drink till the morning comes That's what we're gonna do! Come on! Come on!
  5. Withnail And I 8.4/10 I also saw Big Fish the other day, which I give 7.5/10. It was good, but I thought it would be better
  6. The Beatles - It's All Too Much It's all too much It's all too much When I look into your eyes Your love is there for me And the more I go inside The more there is to see It's all too much for me to take The love that's shining all around you Everywhere it's what you make For us to take, it's all too much Floating down the stream of time Of life to life with me Makes no difference where you are Or where you'd like to be It's all too much for me to take The love that's shining all around here All the world is birthday cake So take a piece but not too much Set me on a silver sun For I know that I'm free Show me that I'm everywhere And get me home for tea It's all to much for me to see A love that's shining all around here The more I learn, the less I know And what I do is all too much It's all too much for me to take The love that's shining all around you Everywhere, it's what you make For us to take, it's all too much It's too much It's too much With your long blonde hair and your eyes of blue With your long blonde hair and your eyes of blue It's too much
  7. Final Destination 2 1/10 Horrible, just horrible. One of the most stupid films I've ever seen, and what a fucking awful ending. It's only saving grace is the fact that it's so rediculously funny (which it really shouldn't be)
  8. i take it your up doing an essay for uni too or is it just me! close but no cigar :P I'm not tired cos I got up at 4:00pm today (yesterday) plus I have no lectures tomorrow (today), so I have no reason to go to bed :smug: and I drank too much coke earlier so I'm pumped full of caffeine :stunned:
  9. In the words of Winston Churchill... "It's fucking awful!"
  10. The Incredibles 8/10 A fantastic movie. The best visuals so far in Pixar's history, and there were some good funny moments. Having said that, it's not as good as Monsters, Inc. (which I feel is Pixar's best movie to date).
  11. You can never have too many threads about Jeff Buckley He was absolutely amazing. He has the most amazing voice I've ever heard, and his songs were phenomenal. It's a shame he doesn't get the recognition he so clearly deserves.
  12. The Beatles - Strawberry Fields Forever
  13. Radiohead - Exit Music (For A Film)
  14. Jeff Buckley - Kanga Roo
  15. The one I posted in a similar topic in the general forum was quite good: (to two women) "I don't want to come between you... or do I?"
  16. The Beatles - Within You Without You
  17. I know everybody here wants you I know everybody here thinks he needs you I'll be waiting right here just to show you How our love will blow it all away Jeff Buckley - Everybody Here Wants You
  18. Jeff Buckley - Everybody Here Wants You
  19. The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
  20. Jeff Buckley - Everybody Here Wants You
  21. It's never over, my kingdom for a kiss upon her shoulder It's never over, all my riches for her smiles when I slept so soft against her It's never over, all my blood for the sweetness of her laughter It's never over, she's the tear that hangs inside my soul forever Maybe I'm just too young To keep good love from going wrong Lover, you should've come over --Jeff Buckley - Lover, You Should've Come Over
  22. Doom 3's not really much like Doom 1 or 2 at all really - there's more atmosphere and a bit less mindless blasting. It's a fantastic game, but you need an awesome PC to play it and it gets a bit monotonous after a while. It's just a basic shooting game with cool graphics, really. Half-Life 2 is the same sort of thing as the first one, but about 10 times more fun. And since Half-Life was one of the best games ever anyway, that makes it some crazy amount of fun I can't even measure. And it runs better than Doom 3 too, despite looking better. While Doom 3 is a brilliant game, nothing comes close to Half-Life 2.
