I did Music at A-level and GCSE and I'm currently doing a B.A.(Hons) degree in 'Music, Technology & Innovation' (which involves studio recording, production, engineering etc.) I'm hoping to become a sound engineer and eventually a producer. But it's a very difficult career to get into, so I've been exploring other options as well (for example; broadcasting or journalism).

There is another film in colour that came out in the early 90's. It's much better than the shit black and white one, but it's been modernised, it's American, and it's not as true to the book.

I read it for GCSE as well. It's one of the best books I've ever read.

If it's saved as ".VOB" files, then you should be able to use some sort of DVD software to open it as you would a normal video file. In PowerDVD, there's actually a convenient option to "Open DVD File on Disk".
