Man On The Moon
I was very surprised. it's a fantastic film. It's by far Jim Carrey's best performance. He's matched Andy Kauffman perfectly.

The Cooper Temple Clause - Who Needs Enemies? My, oh my I'm seeing the potential Let's just see what we can do First we'll take you down back to the meat house Then you'll hold their hands again I know tricks that you can only dream of It looks like it's your lucky day A killer key change Is all you'll ever need Who needs enemies When you've got friends? Now your hands are tied Who needs accidents When you've got me? Now I'm on your side Now let's try and teach you how to mingle Then we'll teach you how to kill Lies will always be your best of best friends You'll never be alone again A killer key change Is all you'll ever need Who needs enemies When you've got friends? Now your hands are tied Who needs accidents When you've got me Now I'm on your side All these animals That you call friends Now they're on their knees Man, you tricked them all You played the fool You're so damn easy to please I made my name in function rooms I drifted through the walls C'mon let me teach you boy Teach you about it all Who needs enemies When you've got friends? Now your hands are tied Who needs accidents When you've got me Now I'm on your side All these animals That you call friends Now they're on their knees Man, you tricked them all You played the fool You're so damn easy to please

"From the moment I wake To the moment I sleep I'll be there at your side Just you try and stop me I'll be waiting in line Just to see if you care" "Life is for living we all know And I don't wanna live it alone" "When you work it out I'm worse than you When you work it out I want it too When you work out where to draw the line Your guess is as good as mine" "Nobody said it was easy But no-one ever said it would be this hard" "Am I a part of the cure Or am I part of the disease?" "I'm gonna buy a gun and start a war If you can tell me something worth fighting for I'm gonna buy this place is what I said And I'll blame it upon a rush of blood to the head"- Name 3 Coldplay songs with the best bass line

The Cooper Temple Clause - Kick Up The Fire, And Let The Flames Break Loose I bought it today- South Park??
I haven't seen a lot of them, but the ones I've seen are hilarious. "Okay Mongorians, I'll pray arong!" "Damn you Mongorians! You break down my shitty wall last time!"- Lyrics
The Cooper Temple Clause - Promises, Promises It's got me going inside I think it's happening again I think there's gonna be some action Cos it's got me going inside You got me where you want me Sit down and talk to me I just hope you're happy With your snake skin dead bodies evening all Just go, go back to your bright lights You made promises you couldn't keep Sicking up rag doll more than you know Just keep your mouth shut you got no mind to blow You celebrate things You celebrate things Forget about me just desecrate everything Oh you messed it up good, yeah this kid's just a joke Baby can't shoot straight But you've gotta shoot straight Cos there's so many friends to make Gotta take blows it's the way that you grow Baby can't shoot straight But you've gotta shoot straight Cos there's so many friends to make Gotta take blows it's the way that you grow Don't need to be seen Just gotta get yourself known- Reading/Leeds Festival
the lineup this year is awful. it's certainly not worth a £100+ ticket. If Glastonbury hadn't sold out so damn fast, I would have gone there without a doubt. But the festivals are so expensive this year, and the lineups aren't particularly brilliant (except Glasto) so I think I'll give them a miss.- Proudest Moments in you life
When I got my GCSE results When I got my 'A' level results When my 'A' level music teacher called me an "exceptionally brilliant musician". When I officially got into university. When I performed my first proper gig, when my dad overheard someone say "that last band were good, and the singer (me) was great". When I performed as a bass vocalist in St. Mark's Cathedral, Venice. When I met Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. When I saw Radiohead at Earl's Court. When I saw Oasis at Finsbury Park.- Your top 5 current songs
not in order: The Thrills - 'Till The Tide Creeps In Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Heart + Soul Oasis - Acquiesce The Strokes - Reptilia Radiohead - Idioteque- Trying your luck
i've been trying to nail the Reptilia solo for a while now, but it's so damn hard. It's a very cool solo indeed. I can play these: Is This It, The Modern Age, Soma, Barely Legal, Someday, Last Nite, Hard To Explain, NYC Cops, Take It Or Leave It, 12:51 Haven't even been bothered to learn Trying Your Luck yet.- Bass
It might be easy to pick up, but if you don't take playing the bass seriously, it will absolutely stand out. My old bassist didn't care about what he was doing, and it was clear he just wanted to play bass so he could be in a band. Eventually we sacked him because he couldn't play properly and he made us sound absolutely dreadful. While bass might be the easiest thing to play of the other instruments in a band, they are certainly not "just an excuse to get into a band". The bass is a very important part of a group, giving the overall sound much needed richness and gives a lot more rhythmic integrity and stability. Of course, you can write music that doesn't need bass. For example, Coldplay songs without any bass would sound terrible, but songs by The White Stripes with bass would sound equally appalling. But 97% of bands that use bass simply couldn't do without it. Anyway, to cut a long story short, the bass is a serious instrument and is very important in any band. (by the way - I'm not a bassist, I'm a guitarist, so I'm in no way biased)- Name 3 Coldplay songs with the best bass line
Everything's Not Lost Clocks God Put A Smile Upon Your Face- a really strange question

The Stone Roses - Sally Cinnamon Until Sally I was never happy I needed something more Rainclouds, oh they used to chase me Down they would pour And join my tears And elay my fears Sent to me from heaven Sally Cinnamon You're my world Bu-bu-bu-bu-bu-bu-bubble gum You taste of cherryade There is something hey, you must show me From what you are made Sugar and spice And all things nice Sent to me from heaven Sally Cinnamon You're my world You are my world Your eyes are gazing back Through every little piece of glass You seem to smile through every blade Sally Cinnamon You are my world Then I put the letter back In the place where it was found In the pocket of a jacket on a train in town Sent to her from heaven Sally Cinnamon You're her world- its so sad
- Your favorite book(s)?
A couple more to add... Lord Of The Flies by William Golding Animal Farm by George Orwell- its so sad
Steve Lamacq, Zane Lowe and Jo Whiley are all good, but the majority of commercial radio really annoys me. I hardly ever really listen to it anymore. Xfm and Virgin are both good, but I don't quite live close enough to London to recieve Xfm. And that also means I can only get Virgin in AM rather than FM, which sucks... so I can hardly ever hear them. Besides, I'd rather listen to what I want to listen to from my CD collection, than listen to a playlist of the current top 40 interspersed with stupid comments from DJs and pointless noises in between, trying to make the whole thing more spangly and brilliant.- How Much ??
Stella is short for "Stella Artois". it's a Belgian beer- How Much ??

Radiohead - We Suck Young Blood (Your Time Is Up) Are you hungry? Are you sick? Are you begging for a break? Are you sweet? Are you fresh Are you strung up by the wrists? We want the young blood Are you fracturing? Are you torn at the seams? Would you do anything? Flea-bitten, moth-eaten? We suck young blood We suck young blood Won't let the creeping ivy Won't let the nervous bury me Our veins are thin Our rivers poisoned We want the sweet meats We want the young blood - Fovorite Coldplay Lyric
