  2. Yeah, you need a DVD-ROM drive.
  3. 7 Television Commercials Just for the Paranoid Android video alone. Everything else would be a bonus!
  4. Technically, Liam is the only original member, because he started Oasis with Bonehead, Guigsy and Tony McCarroll, and asked Noel to join after their first gig. Mind you, they weren't called Oasis then, and it was years and years ago. It's not been officially confirmed that Alan has actually left yet, but it looks likely. I really do hope he stays.

  6. "How could you do such a thing?" "Yeah, I know, they're rubbish!"
  7. The DVD player I use on my PC is called PowerDVD, which has a feature which lets you take snapshots from a DVD and save them as pictures. Pretty nifty, eh? :) :stunned: :stunned: :stunned: :stunned: :stunned: i MUST get this PowerDVD you speak of!!! :D I got it free with my PC. :D Aren't I the lucky one? ;) you can get it here. http://www.gocyberlink.com
  8. In honesty, I'm actually a guitarist, but I occasionally play the bass. This has worked to my advantage I guess, because I can play lead guitar pretty well so I've transferred the technique across to the bass. I don't find it all that hard, but when I started learning the lead guitar part it took me a few months to get it nailed - now I can play it blindfolded. Don't give up - keep going and eventually you'll get there. The bass is probably the hardest part of the song!
  9. It's a British sketch show written by Matt Lucas (George Dawes of Reeves & Mortimer fame) and David Walliams. The best character has got to be Andy, the guy in the wheelchair. "I want a chocolate!" "Okay you can have one... which one would you like?" "Tha' one." "That one?" "Yeah." "Well, that's dark chocolate. You don't like dark chocolate." "Yeah, I know" "You always said dark chocolate had a bitter edge to it, and lacks the oral ectasy of its milkier cousin." "Yeah, I know." "So which one would you like?" "I want tha' one!" "Oh, alright." ".......I don't like it."
  10. Tara Palmer Tompkinson Sorry if anyone outside the U.K. doesn't know who she is, but for those here who know who do she is, can someone please tell me what she does? I just don't understand why she's "famous". She really gets on my nerves. Pretty much anyone who goes on "I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!" deserves a slap across the chops in my opinion. (Again, it's a UK thing. Sorry.)
  11. When in the right mood (i.e. not a happy one) I find that Warning Sign is the only song that can lead me to shed a tear. And I've been very close to tears whilst listening to The Scientist.
  12. Don't Panic --> A Beautiful World Amsterdam --> No Cause For Concern ???
  13. The DVD player I use on my PC is called PowerDVD, which has a feature which lets you take snapshots from a DVD and save them as pictures. Pretty nifty, eh? :)
  14. My band has covered dozens of songs. We started out just playing covers, but now we're writing our own stuff as well. Here's a list of some of the stuff we've done. Oasis - Supersonic, The Hindu Times Radiohead - Creep, No Surprises Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Love Burns, Whatever Happened To My Rock 'n' Roll? The Strokes - The Modern Age Coldplay - In My Place The Beatles - Day Tripper The Datsuns - Harmonic Generator We're trying to phase out the covers from our setlist completely as we write more of our own stuff.
  15. I don't know a lot of Coldplay songs on the bass. I enjoy playing Everything's Not Lost and Daylight, though. Other songs? Radiohead - Where I End And You Begin Radiohead - Paranoid Android Oasis - Go Let It Out The Stone Roses - I Am The Resurrection Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - As Sure As The Sun Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Rise Or Fall Rage Against The Machine - Sleep Now In The Fire The Beatles - Day Tripper
  16. Radiohead - 2 + 2 = 5 Are you such a dreamer To put the world to rights? I'll stay home forever Where two and two always makes up five I'll lay down the tracks Sandbag and hide January has April showers When two and two always makes up five It's the devil's way now There is no way out You can scream and you can shout It is too late now BECAUSE YOU HAVE NOT BEEN PAYING ATTENTION And I try to sing along But I get it all wrong Cos I'm not And I swallow like flies But like flies the buggers keep coming back But I'm not All hail to the thief All hail to the thief But I'm not Don't question my authority Or put me in the docks Cos I'm not Go and tell the king That that sky is falling in When it's not Maybe not
  17. Some random shots of Chris from the DVD (God Put A Smile Upon My Face) (See You Soon) (Everything's Not Lost) And for all those Guy fans out there, here's a shot from In My Place
  18. Little Britain is the best comedy we've had in years. "Dust? Anyone? No? Dust. Anyone? No? Dust. Anyone? No? Dust. Anyone? No? Dust. Anyone? No? Dust. Anyone? No? Dust." Cracks me up.
  19. This is the best shot I could get from the DVD. This isn't the exact moment when the lights come on though, cos he jumps off-screen on that one (you can only see his feet!) It's taken a few moments afterwards.
  20. Oasis - Where Did It All Go Wrong? [Jools Holland 2000, acoustic version] Radiohead - Fake Plastic Trees Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - And I'm Aching Coldplay - Warning Sign Jeff Buckley - Lover, You Should've Come Over U2 - One The Stone Roses - Waterfalls The Beatles - The Long And Winding Road ['Let It Be...Naked' version] Blur - The Universal R.E.M. - Nightswimming Sting - Fields Of Gold John Lennon - Jealous Guy Zwan - Honestly The Who - Behind Blue Eyes
  21. Gotta be A Rush Of Blood To The Head. of course, they're both great, but in my opinion AROBTTH is still leagues ahead of Parachutes.
  22. Hi, new member here. Go easy on me :D I've used a few other boards before - I was a member of The-Masterplan.com's Oasis forum until that disappeared. Now I visit the Radiohead forum on ateaseweb.com on occasion, and thought I might as well join a Coldplay forum too. Music is my life - I'm a huge Radiohead fan, and also enjoy listening to Coldplay, Oasis and B.R.M.C. amongst many others. Anyways - I'm looking forward to posting here. Seems like a great board.
  23. Does anyone know the chords? I just can't figure them out, and I can't find a correct tab anywhere! Just the names of the chords will do - I can figure out how to play them from that. Cheers. EDIT: Don't worry, I've now found a correct transcription for guitar, from which I figured out the piano. http://www.olga.net. look for it there.
