  1. So far on this tour they have been performing their acoustics on the X portion of the stage. I have not seen them use a C-Stage on this tour thus far. However, tonight is their first show back in the U.S. so they may have changed something. I just find it unlikely.
  2. I believe in the other Dallas thread someone said they arrive for sound check around 4PM.
  3. Ya.... Once you zoom into the photo it is questionable on what the flight number actually is. I'm seeing BA now which stands for British Airways. The flight number is difficult to make out and the ones I have tried do not add up.
  4. They may have gotten a connecting flight just like when they land in the US they will have to board another plane to get to Dallas. Maybe we can hunt that plane down...
  5. Watch Coldplays Flight to US Live.... Watch their flight live as they make their way to Dallas for their first stop back in the US for this tour. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/AAL113 Source for flight information - http://twitpic.com/9yi27f
  6. I will be there for day 2 in section 114 Row V. I'm planning on getting there pretty early to see if I can catch the guys arriving at the arena and hopefully meet them.
  7. Found this... It may provide further information :) Also, it is a great interview. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlYWIQWO748&feature=related][2011.11.09] Howard - Chris Martin of Coldplay (1 of 7) - YouTube[/ame] One thing I find interesting is that in the 2nd part of this interview he says, "There is is a studio 8 doors down". Howard was asking him if he disturbs his family when he gets ideas late at night and that was Chris' serious reply. Is the bakery that close to his home in London?
  8. I would say so. There have been reports of them working on other gigs. Also, there is a story of a lady who was driving by the arena and hers came alive in her car for just a moment.

No longer the owner of the thread. Can an admin add Phil?

Have you met them or one of them? Haven't seen a thread like this around here but really wanted to know. I'm new to this site but have been a fan since 2003ish. I'm seeing a lot of you who have tons of posts here and have been here for years! I constantly ask myself, out of all of these devoted fans how many actually have met the band or just one of the guys? I figured there is no better way than to run a poll and gather statistics. I have not met them and I am hoping I get the opportunity on June 23rd in Dallas. This will be my 5th or 6th concert to see them. This time I am going to get there early in hopes of catching them arriving at the arena for the sound check. So, how many of you have actually had the opportunity to meet Coldplay or one of the guys? If so, feel free to tell your story. I understand it may be the millionth time you have told it. :laugh3:
  12. This will be my 3rd concert to see Coldplay inside the AAC. It is definitely loud. It may be a good idea to get in ear plugs and not push them in all the way so you can still experience all the sounds of the music but at the same time regulate how much is coming into the ear. If you push them too far in then you would end up eliminating most of the high frequency sounds. My father went to the first concert I attended once and he said he wont do it again because it was so loud. I believe if you come with ear buds you will be able to enjoy it just as everyone else.
  13. I created a meme and started off with a few. http://memegenerator.net/Chrismartin Let the games begin! *UPDATED*
  14. I've been on the hunt for Chris Martin's pants. It looks like Carhartt. The ankles appear to have Velcro straps. Anybody know what kind of pants these are?
  15. This is awesome!
  16. SMH.... They look like a bunch of neanderthal's.
  17. Am I the only one who caught this? I think Rafael got information directly from the horses mouth and that they do not cost what everyone is debating on. With that in mind it makes more sense that the total production cost of each concert is around 400,000.
  18. I see. It is possible that they may not do it on the second day then... I may go early just in case to see what happens.
  19. Sweet, thanks for the info. This is my 5th or 6th concert with them. Kinda lost count lol. I'm pretty excited about this tour.
  20. That all together was awesome!
  21. Nice job! In regards to his piano it seems he has kept the same model over the last few tours but just painted it differently.
  22. Anyone have a idea of when they go to the arena for soundcheck? I actually will be going to the second show on Saturday.
  23. I agree as well.
  24. Beautiful computer matched with beautiful music.
